The State of Union [Chaos]

The 2-month old server shut down that was going to bring a much needed "Mega Update" has disappointed the majority of the players in Chaos. We merely got Ragnarok Transcendence Interface which did upgrade some parts of the game but it downgraded many others.

At this point, we are missing so many updates that this main post wouldn't even begin to cover. We did get a better interface, offline vending, updated pet system, etc. Although not official, ragial was amazing, we now lost that, the in-game boards are a joke compared to ragial.

VIP is also broken, and no word, no official thread addressing this BIG issue.

Most importantly, we lost the communication with the GM's, there is no updates in scope, no communications on when vip is coming back (at least there isn't a main thread addressing this), there is no communication on so many things. Even re-opening day there was no sort of hype from behalf the GM's or WP staff.

There is a sense of, "I don't care about Chaos or Chaos players whatsoever." even though we have spent lots of money and time into this game/server.

At this point, I would like to ask the GM's to provide some sort of official update to us the player or we will assume that you have abandon iRO Chaos.

Does this include the "All Base" and "All Job" EXP distribution for VIP in Gramps and new Bounty Boards? Also the death penalty reduction?

Yes to gramps and BB, Death penalty isn't part of the new VIP but I am seeing what can be done

It would be nice if you bring back bio4 bounty level range to 140-175.

Hey Camp, since you're here. Do you still insist your plan to keep Thor and Chaos separated? Seeing that WoE 1 and WoE 2 in Chaos are no more, I think it's reasonable to merge them. Perhaps, are you waiting for WoE TE in Chaos to die first before you proceed to merge the two servers?

Yes to gramps and BB, Death penalty isn't part of the new VIP but I am seeing what can be done

IF WP Sell VIP like this realy hard to see player to open ocp and slower step to find Zeny

If Chaos dies as people are fearing (lets hope this wont happen or RIP all my WoE items T_T), RoT will thrive as it will be the only new fresh server where Warpportal can focus on = iRO lives on for another decade. 

Does RoT even have Ragial? If not, I dont see the problem especially their population is much higher than that of Chaos. At the beginning of RO, there was never something Ragial-like. Searching and finding good deals was part of the nostalgic feelings/experiences of early RO but this can be subjective, however.

Unfortunately, I feel the same. Absolutely silent about updates during those 2 month and then some problems with release. Almost nothing new added and what for servers were shut down for 2 month?

I rather play pvm renewal with more content than a freshly botted economy on RT.

It's obvious they aren't doing anything at all, neither for RO:T nor for Chaos. They just did the bare minimum for RO:T opening while closing Chaos bc otherwise it wouldn't have been the bare minimum, and we know that's how WP works, none of the money will go into the servers and literally everyone can see that, and i really doubt RO:T will last if Chaos dies, even with all the influx from it, bc of the former reason.

That argument of WoE times in conflict is rather obtuse. 

Actually I've got over it long time ago. I quit WoE in Chaos as promised I said I would. I was not the only one, many other WoE folks also quit due to that obnoxious event. They will merge or not is not really my concern. If they dont merge, I still get to save my money. If they merge, then I'm gonna have to spend money again to buy WoE supplies since I dont do PvM to make zeny and I dont bot. Why do I keep bringing up about WoE merge then? It's been proven many times that WoE keeps server alive, more than PvM does. Dont believe me? I bet one day Chaos population will go below Thor population. Heart breaking that before the event, Chaos had like 2.3k while Thor had 200ish (We had privilege to talk so much -_- about Thor server and the players). Then without WoE and had to open a new server, now Chaos has 750 (I bet that more than 69% are AFK/Venders) Thor has 175. Then what? Chaos has 100 and Thor has 150 next year? 

You, on the other hand, have not got over from the fact that they opened RoT because they had to. Chaos is over. Look around and see that every Chaos-related topic is related to negative experiences and complaints. Dont bring up other nonsense to explain current Chaos situations. Warpportal has not done anything real stupid since Dec 2018 event. But yes, Warpportal has made many bad moves.

So, lets hope they will make a right decision this time by closing Thor and Chaos and focusing on RoT. Experienced hardcore players in RoT are looking forward to WoE ... real badly

As I said they sacrificed Chaos/Thor for RT

Restart and classic both died because there was nothing to do/poor management. RT is going to head the same direction. Updates every 4 months? By the time we catch up to kRO we'll all be dead.
