Evolved pet won't go Loyal

Since day 3 I have been feeding a Mastering, and yet today he hasn't reach Cordial. I've been leaving my character afk for almost 3 days straight on autofeeding and still, no intimacy progress. Not to mention that I fed him - regularly - on neutral for about 13-14 days: no progress.

 

It seems pretty bugged to me. Too dificult to make him get Loyal, one could almost say it's impossible.

 

By the way, I haven't seen a single evolved pet that is loyal at the moment.

As far as I have been told, evolved pets take a much longer time to reach loyal. I'd say to hold onto it and keep feeding the pet If no progress is made in a long while let us know.

I'm aware it's more difficult. But I upgraded my poring to loyal in a single day, while I have Mastering for more than 12 days and no result whatsoever. 12 times more difficult to upgrade seems far too troublesome to me. Also, I don't know if deaths are way too unforgiving towards his intimacy, hope it's not the case.

Evolved pets having a much slower intimacy progression is intended.

The trade-off here is that it will also be way harder to lose your pet unintentionally (frequent owner deaths or starving) and they now take a longer time before they get hungry (which also indirectly slows down intimacy progression lol)

And yes, pets lose a lot of intimacy points for owner's deaths.


Sidenote: porings gain intimacy at more than 2x the average rate that other pets do : P

well 200 feeds still neutral i think this kinda bugged or very slow, btw how much intimacy increase per feed for evolve pet? Hopefully GM can answer this

I have the same problem, the mastering keeps in neutral. Can anyone help?

There are already people with cordial evolved pets.

Keep in mind that some pets also gain intimacy slower than others.
Just keep feeding and you'll get there eventually

Someone calculated a while ago that it's about 500 feeds to get past neutral. No idea if that's accurate, but judging from what I've seen on forums, it seems more or less correct.

Well, Neutral starts at 250, while Cordial starts at 750, making it around 500 points in difference.

So yeah, that should be about right.

The issue now is figuring out how much intimacy points your pets gain everytime you feed it.
