CHAOS: FIX EAC?!?!

RO is a 15 year old game, it takes up 40-45% of my cpu.

A newer game with 5x graphics say dota2 takes up only 15% of my cpu..

Pre EAC it was like 5-7% per client.

Its good to try to adopt a system that stops cheats, but even now bots are rampant. Even now vending bots are rampant in towns. So why are we still continuing with these softwares to just screw up our systems?

I feel you man. I get like 250+ FPS on modern games at 1440p. I boot up rag at 1080p and my FPS jumps wildly from 20-80 FPS constantly.

The burden is even heavier than the old game guard my previous server had (pRO), could play for hours n hours without my netbook shutting down fron overheating

Meanwhile now err i can barely say hello before everything turns dark lol (overheats within minutes)

Really quite a huge wall for me, this EAC thing

There's still some bots, but the quantity on Chaos is definitely far fewer than there were before. The server definitely isn't dead either, considering how many 'afk vends' are no longer there inflating the login count. 

Hmm quick question that might not be answerable: Do offline vending shops count towards the server login count? It seems like it wouldn't, cuz it's like a kage bunshin no jutsu thing. If the server pop doesn't count offline vends, there's a huge amount of them accounting for vends all around Chaos.

lately every time i boot this game up, i start getting sound-static glitches that are similar to the sound a dial-up modem makes. the lag spikes have been pretty bad as well.

either fix the game or kill it, is what it comes down to. as much as i love RO - and as much nostalgia i still get from playing it - there comes a time when a franchise just needs to stop trying and let go already.

ROT is full of bots right now, this EAC makes the client so laggy at this time. I think they should try to find other gameguard, like the Gepard Anti-Shield?

EAC doesnt block bots. It's just that its probably not worth botting on Chaos. But rest assured, iRO Chaos wont be closed any time soon. Thai spenders got iRO in the bag to carry it on for years to come

However, I cant say the same to RoT. It will most likely merge to Chaos next year ... lmfao. Last tiem I logged in there were 1k ish people and 950 of those were bots cus its a new server, botting is very worth doing, esp. its a cashless very extremely Play-2-Win server. Whoever bots most wins lol

When the most sought after items came from a loot box, instead of field monsters, then of course there will be no bots lol. 

I leave my PC and iRO client open last night and when I woke up it's not on anymore. I  think the problem of EAC is still there.
