Just returned after a long hiatus. Last time I checked( years ago?) the big card grf was allowed by the GM's. Was a nice quality of life improvement. Just redownloaded, and thats the only thing id like to change again. Is that legal by EAC / Terms of Service or not anymore?

That's all. Thanks. =)

nothing has changed in regards to big card edits

EAC doesn't detect grf changes.

EAC does almost nothing. EAC sends an encrypted packet to the client for authentication. The client then send back a reply. If there is not a correct reply, the connection is closed. No grf scanning, no file verification through hash or checksum, literally a waste of time and money.

I think it does a check on VM as well. So good bye VMware at least or linux KVM.

For what its worth, it has eliminated all open source / free RO bots out of existence. They are never going to be able to win the arm race against the professional botters. So it is working as intended.

Unfortunately this is not true. People are still using openkore, they just send the server the encryption packet I'm talking about.
