you know why we came to this term

we acknowledge that the bots have won, they will be in this server until it dies

which isnt what this server originally promotes.

I think the fair price on NPC is

 

Strawberry 1,500z

Lemon 700z

Grape 450z

 

This would stabilize the value of SP items and there would be no further manipulation, just like Mastela Fruit did with Condensed Potion.

 

There will be better items for better SP recovery, but their drop origin should be changed to higher level monsters where bots can't collect.

What will you do if the bots vend them as following

Strawberry 1,000z

Lemon 500z

Grape 300z

I mean it will make their zeny collection a bit slower, but does it matter to them? They are bots afterall.

And not everyone will choose to buy it from npc, since they can get it cheaper. Whatever price you can set, the bots can undercut cause it doesn't cost them anything.

What this achieve though is that it forces bots to farm something else thats more profitable, and the SP items has a price ceiling (npc price). Won't solve the bot problem but will solve your SP item problems.

It will only stop bots if the math adds up to not being worth farming those items per how much it costs to run them. If they can vend it for lower than that and still profit, they'd still be there.
And if you want to lower the price of the consumables to the point of getting rid of bots in that market, you now have a new problem where sp consumables are so easily avaiable and cheap that the game fundamentaly changes how it is played.

Or they will resort to farm Yggs and just cards as those are what will be left bottable. But with this, I don't think botters can survive and pay their monthly fee by just selling cards and yggs.

But as of now, I think it is very obvious that the sp pots are their bread and butter in order to make a profit. Knocking this out, they wont bot anymore.

I want to remember that we already live a time before Renewal when Strawberry was sold in Moscovia at 500z. Good times by the way

strawberry vending at 3k each would be a massive zeny sink, reduce zeny going to bots, and benefit guilds preparing for woe

Just make their sell to npc price 0 or 1.

It's not like actual players ever npc sp items.

Did you know royal jelly sells to npc for like 4,3XX with overcharge?

Of course not, because why in gods name would anyone npc them other than bots.
