Rangers have a better chance to crit with weapon upgrade+dna(which i have at max)...with that buff at lvl 59 i have 34%+ chance crit

well weapon upgrade lvl 10 is 10 or 11% i think + 7.5% from max dna

srs have fortitude which gives 14% with no need to spend dna

personally i have lvl 5 weapon upgrade dna so it gives me 15 or 16% which is not relevant at all

in summary no rangers dont crit more often and both classes are piss easy to take past 50% crit which is all you need really

lol just cos your ranger hits more than sr dont mean its true.

just couple examples.

my 65 sin (without that little xbow mastery boost) hits 2k aa crit

most 65 rangers dont unless they are very pimped

lvl 79 sin crit me for 4.3k from xbow

whereas most i have seen rangers crit me is like about 3.5k i guess

ofc extremely op ranger can crit more than average sr but you cant compare them like that

also i would prefer to just use fixed firing and have less 10m but capped speed, that way you could kill sr

ok my 59 ranger has crit for over 1k so idk it might change it might not...as for range extension id use it after i attacked an sr and wanted to get out of range...this is what id do...fixed firing, AA the SR,escape(im taking this higher then 5 so SRs cant dash into me now),fixed firing,AA=death

i am not sure that i have understood all of this.

so sr attacked someone and you are shooting him, surely he dont just stand there but retreats 15m back and then additional forward dash if needed.

no not that...stealth detection will let me see him (SR or Sin)...i attack him and if he dashes towards me ill escape away from him and slap on rang extension and keep attacking

ok i can tell you from experience.

good sin/sr will know that you can see them and will stay at about 40m

and when you manage to unstealth sin/sr all he will do is just dash away

that is all, believe me no sin/sr will be dashing and running towards me even from 30m cos he will die (apart from few tank rouges) but they will get shock firing in their ass

now you can use escape to chase after them if you feeling adventorous which is quite fun

edit: by "slapping" range extension on you will nerf your dps, halve it, why do that?

true i havent really pvped with my ranger tbh it was an idea that u just crushed on me lol...on another note maybe i cant beat and SR but the extra 10m will do me good in places like svs against all those pesky campers...plus wouldnt an S1 belt(if you can get one) bring the attack speed back down close to 1

you can take it to lvl 2 and get 1.0 speed.

with some equipement you should be able to take lvl 3 and get 1.0 but gloves kick in after speed buff so they dont reduce much

for pve yes its useless, for pvp sometimes it can be usefull but its better to have less range and full speed

as i said in other thread, only use of range extension i see is in svs mb or tbf tree map which sux anyways

also ray said that mb you should try skill spam ranger build http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/happy.gif

Famous all skills of Rangers have cast time :P except Quick Firing and using Skills for Rangers doesn't solve the purpose, your DPS will reduce on using skills over time when compared to AA. And one more thing just forgot about it on using skills your Weapon Upgrade+DNA will be waste..

PB!! :P for Ranger-- booo, dont even bother about PB its absolutely waste.
