[RT] What is happening with the Trans Classes Update ?

In a bit more than a week, 2 months will have passed since this was posted in the last production notes (the ones you understandably stopped making because you realized that meeting certain deadlines takes real effort, and empty promises will just make people leave the server sooner). Is there any follow up to what is going on with the development of that topic? I usually try to speak only for myself, but I feel like a good portion of the server is already trying to gear up for a possible Trans update, because at this point the most you can do with your prefered class is min-max to very extreme degrees, and the only thing to do after you've hit that wall is to move on to different classes, and having a low sense of progression in an MMORPG is... pretty sad.

 

I understand that we just got a decently sized content patch, but more than a month ago during WoE times we had almost 4k players online, this last one barely reached 2700, the server is on a noticeable decline and knowing when trans classes are coming out could at least stop the playerbase hemorrhage.

 

So, personally I would like to get some insight on the situation, because there would be a big difference between hearing "we have been working on it and soon we will post some details" and "we've been busy sorting out the last patch so it's hard to tell when that will happen".

They will release it when they are ready. Patience is the key. Earlier, people were desperate to have hugel and lighthalzen update. And now it's here and will need some time for people to adjust their levelling and farming on new fever fields.

Right now since Garments and Shoes have enchants, building strong character with classic jobs are still viable without the need to release trans classes at this moment.

I understand to a certain degree that sometimes it's better to wait out on some things, but I specifically mentioned the declining player base with that in mind. Can this server realistically stay alive for another month or two without nothing new? An update like trans classes is considerably bigger than what we just got, and the latter got split up into 2 different patches that took 1 week and a half (or more considering all the fixes required) to be released not counting the time it took to develop. Remember the skill rebalance? It would be that x100, and we still don't have the blacksmith weapon forge fixed.

They will release it when they are ready. 

 

Judging by the last few updates, they will probably release it a week or two before it's ready

3rd classes are honestly not needed with the current mechanics we got going on in the server. People are already doing MvPs that are meant to be done with trans classes with what we have, and if we ever need buffs they can release new sets of gears with increased buffs (higher atk, crit %damage, whatever) or higher number of enchantments per gear.

I would like to know this as well. The trans server that has no trans. Irony

Yeah this would be nice to know. We've gotten a heck of a lot of trans dungeons, with gear dropping that cannot be equipped by non-trans classes (such as Inverse Scale from Abyss Lake). Even a rough timeline of when you plan to implement this would be good to hear about.

No response? Should we assume it's not even a possibility for the next couple of months?

Nothing unless campitor announced that the production team is working for trans class update. You will see it when they announce it in the patch notes. Otherwise, nothing new yet.

The only update this week is they will release additional exp/drop bonus rewards and full reset stats/skills unlocked from Journey Together event
