Tested this swapping with combat knife for damage difference and NOPE the demi human reduction on the valkyrie knife isn’t working.

The 10% demihuman bonus is only for mage classes and super novices, what class are you on?

Tested a combat knife and a valk knife on a sorc. The sorc took more damage with the valk knife

Maybe it's messed up from the update where stuff got changed to "player" race and stuff, might only work on demi-human mobs or something like that, instead of player-human and player-doram

Hello! I have double-checked with the RO team about this. It has been confirmed that the knife properly reduces demi human damage. The reduction is based on monster race.

That's kinda what we said, but the question is, shouldn't it have been updated to work on the "human-player" race just like plenty of other "demi-human" items were in the past when we got the update that made dorams count as players too.
Plenty of items went from "demi-human" to "human-player" as well.
Example: thara frog card, glorious weapons, combat knife, Cat Ear Beret and so on.
This appears to be one item that was left out and only does demi-human mobs instead of both.
