The Start of a New Year, 2021

Hello Everyone,

Firstly, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays from the RO1 Team. I hope everyone was able to celebrate in a safe and happy manner. The year 2020 brought with it unique challenges that, quite frankly, sucked for everyone.

With 2021, we will be working to apply ourselves on improving the Ragnarok Online service. We have submitted our requested updates-list to the studio and will share what gets approved and what the timeline for those updates are as we get feedback. For RO1 2021, we focused on two main areas for our requests: Level Cap Increase (and related leveling areas), and WoE Changes (with revamped treasure rewards including new God Items). We will share the exact details of the changes as the updates come to us. RT 2021 will be focusing on game system improvements; to rerolling item options, adding jobs, and other changes. This is all in addition to upcoming content updates.

We're swiftly approaching the one year anniversary of RT, whose official launch date was in January 2020. There will be a small event to go with this anniversary.

Recently, we added new people to the RO1 Family. Many of you have seen CM Mayari on the forums and Social Media, as she is focusing on assisting users navigate the customer service process. Cordite will be appearing in the Bug/Technical support section of the forums to document, test, report, and process all the issues that you report. In addition, any bug reports submitted through the Ticket systems and social media will be forwarded him to handle.

Next week the Good Morning threads will start again, so have a great weekend everyone. We will be working to make sure 2021 is better than the last!

On to business, it have been brought up before but you can poke the dev/production to bring back the Lighthalzen hairstyles back into the stylist list? And can we request the new character login menu screen?

now, talking about bugs, is any plan to fix Focused Arrow Strike (Alt: Sharp Shooting)? The skill base level damage scaling aren't working, It's been like this since the Skill Balance Update.

Lastly, please request for missing content such as Rockridge (Calf) weapons. Rebels are stuck with aging weapons from Episode 16.2.

there's always this tendency of overpromising and under delivering  

& didnt. WP RO get that new system from studio
to have better implementation of new patch contents.

plus WP+Studio have it's own server for testing.

means dedicated personal to do patching and translation work

Camp, if level cap is increased, a surge of players will return. If woe is revamped for the better, those players will stay. Ball is in your court.

Please fix the new hairstyle also in Lhz, and remove the items like high quality branch from the Harvest Festival.

i guess that will be implemented. It would be impossible for some jobs like AB and SC leveling in Nogg Road lvl 3/Contaminated Glast heim if they don't have that skill update and the costume job stones boxes (Yeah, maybe AB could kill solo in contaminated glast heim with ME, but non-undead monster will kill you easly).

I'm Happy about this news, since i have done my Adoramus/ME AB gears, now i'm focusing on farming to complete my Magic genesis ray RG which probably will be broken thanks to the Divine Guard Hat.

i wonder if this update will include EDDA:fall of Glast heim.
