This February we're celebrating both Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day!

Construct your best creative Ragnarok-themed greeting card for Lunar New Year OR Valentine's Day!
All players are welcome to participate and show off your skills!

This is a multi-category contest with different ways to enter and win!

Choose a theme:

• Lunar New Year / Year of the Ox
• Valentine's Day

And choose a medium:

• Original drawing
• Crafts (physical paper craft)
• Game screenshot (may be edited to include text or other graphics)

Please read the rules carefully before posting!
Breaking any of these rules may result in removal of entry or disqualification.

• Only one entry per user! Please do not submit multiple entries, including across alternate accounts. Multiple entries made using alternate accounts will be disqualified.
• Make sure YOU made it! All entries must be made by the submitter specifically for the purposes of this contest. Work previously submitted to any other contest will not be accepted. 
• All entries must be rated PG-13. Excessive violence, strong language, or NSFW content will not be permitted.
• Must be iRO related! Content of all entries must be related to international Ragnarok Online and its contents. If it is not recognizable as iRO-related, it may be removed.
• Follow the forum rules. Please follow the rest of the general forum rules when participating in this contest - no inappropriate content, no bullying, flamebaiting, abuse, etc. Any entries containing these unsavory elements will be immediately disqualified.
• Make sure your work is able to be seen. All entries must be able to be accessed publicly to be considered for the contest. Imgur is a good host for images, you may use any of your choice as long as the image shows up here.
• No reserving spots. "Reserve" posts will be removed by VMods and staff. Please do not reserve posts, just post when you are ready.
• Expectation of effort.  A certain level of effort is expected of these entries. Any entry that is deemed to be of low effort or done solely to gain a prize will be removed, and the submitter will be notified of this and given the chance to try again. Excessive instances of this will be considered spam and the submitter will not be allowed to submit again.

The rules may be changed at any point in time as potential issues arise. If you have any concerns, please PM me with the issue.
 
 

 
6 winners total will be chosen by the end of this contest, with 3 from the Lunar New Year category and 3 from the Valentine's Day category.

Winners will not be split up by medium, the different mediums are only there to show what is available to you for this contest.
 
All qualifying participants may receive one of the following Costume Creative Convention Hats:

• Creative Convention Chapeau (Blue)
• Classic Creative Cap (Red)
• Creative Convention Hat (Green)
• Creative Convention Cap (Yellow)

 
In your entry, please specify which one you want by referring to the hat by its color.
 
The 6 winners will receive the following Grand Prize:

I want to participate with my drawn art digitally finished but my digital art skills are non-existent to amateur at best. My friend, who also plays RO with me, said she would digitally finish it for me and said I could claim the reward(s) but feel kinda bad about that.

If we both work on and submit a piece, could we both be eligible for the participation prize at least? If it was lucky enough to win the Grand Prize, we wouldn't need to both get that or anything but I'd like her to get something for her work if at all possible! Totally willing to prove it's not just my alt account or whatever if needed.

If you would like to collaborate with a friend in this way, you are free to do so.

It will count as one entry for the both of you. In the event that your entry wins, both of you would receive winning prizes, and it will take up two winner slots. It looks like they are ALL costume versions according to the wording in the post but I could be wrong.

Also, this is my first Creative Contest so do the Grand Prize listings get posted closer to the end of the contest? I am curious to see the options and hope that Costume Warm Cat Muffler (not positive on name) I see around Eden is an option! Secondly, are these costumes character bound or account bound?
