Missing Sprite Error

windows 7, the game runs fine, its just whenever i walk around areas that are populated by players just says stuff about missing sprites.What's your operating system?

From what I've heard, you can't install programs into your program folder like in previous versions of Windows because the new UAC is a lot more restrictive on programs. You'll have to install your games into another folder and make it allow stuff to be overwritten in order for the game to patch properly. Missing sprites or anything similar means your game didn't patch properly.

Ah, patching problems tend to pop up on wireless connections. Can you hook your laptop up to your modem temporarily to patch the game?laptop is windows xp

Okay, do a full uninstall of RO and delete ALL Gravity folders if any remain (keep the setup file if you saved it). Then try this:my windows 7 is connected directly.
What does work reliably:
Installing outside of program files (some have had issues, possibly because they made it in a different, but still protected location)
Setting to always run as admin
Disabling UAC
