It's just a thing that basically only allows you to have a certain amount of summons summoned at once

It is called your "Summon Gauge" and just represents how much available summoning power you have.

Unfortunately you have a maximum capacity of 50 and a single hawk takes up 26 of it so you can't summon a second one.

Some skills can increase the size of your summon gauge but as pointed out by Kelsie only clerics get this skill.

Would be nice to have some universally available buffs that would increase the maximum i think.
Maybe an IM skill or something.

Actually dealers can increase their summon gage as well

Example: Having two warriors or two archers.

As a muse until I reach level 100 to become a cleric,  I can not increase my Summon Gauge ?  This can seem a little problematic for a lower level Muse.  I understand I'm questioning and posting to an older post,  But for a newbie player it's new to me.

1: Necro posting is not allowed, so please start a new topic if the thread has been inactive for around a year+
2: You can if you hunt bosses and get a lil lucky with a summon gauge gem for your back item.

Aside from that I was fairly certain there was a summon mastery passive in both the muse and cleric tree, but if not then you'd be correct. Although it's not a problem if it's not there.
