Patch Notes v.325

Event
Dudes and Snowbunnies, starting on February 11th, weâ??ll be having an event where you can get the most righteous snowboarding gear, including a snowboard!

All you have to do is collect enough of the Ice ChouChou from either Mt. Eucra or the Magic City of Eucar and bring them to Eliot in the Magic City of Eucar, for prizes.

Once youâ??ve collect all of the cool snowboarding gear, you can trade for a special summon capsule that releases a little Ice Spirit buddy to snowboard with! So get out there on the slopes of Luna and take pictures of the good times! Donâ??t be afraid to share those pictures with everyone the forums too!

Also, in Celebration of Valentine's Day, look for special Valentine drops throughout the world of ROSE and share them with the ones you love!

Most Item Mall items are now trade-able! Most Item Mall items are no longer account bound and may be traded between users.

User Interface (UI) Facelift!
As ROSE has progressed and evolved, we saw that it was time to also evolve the UI.
The new UI is themed after a tinted glass appearance, allowing more visibility and clarity of menus, data and game play.
We've made some changes to help improve the experience of game play by expanding the skill bar from 8 slots to 12! For an updated and intuitive hotkey system we have made the use of the "Alt" button unneeded when in enter chat mode. In the normal chat mode Alt + "keys" is still used.
Many menus have been redesigned in their layout to help provide a streamlined view of gameplay and understanding of information. For example, the Inventory Menu has been restructured to a vertical design, instead of a horizontal one or the Character Status menu, which has been developed to be easier to view.
In addition, when using the "Enter Chat Mode", the shortcuts for the skill bar will reflect their new allocated shortcut keys of "1" through "=" across the top of your keyboard.
Also for you fast paced players, you may now right click a skill / item put in the hotkey shortcut bar to activate it!

Also For those of you who enjoy creating custom UI themes, we have expanded the widget library to be more flexible creating custom UI modifications.
Many hard coded elements have been moved in to the XML files such as:

• The Top Experience bar and character data
• Window Titles
• Refine Success Rate Bar
• And various other elements have been released from their hardcoded control and can be edited through the XML files.

Hair Coloring System
We are happy to announce the introduction to a hair dye system that will allow you to change your current hair style to a number of hair colors old and new.
With the new Hair Dye Coupon, you may now be able to immediately change your hair color to one of 20 selected colors whenever and wherever you want. No need to visit Keenu!
We will be working towards adapting this system also to the other character customization features in the future to increase the convenience of their use.

Item Mall Storage Access
Accessing your Item Mall storage just got easier!
A new button to access your Item Mall storage has been added, so now you can access your Item Mall Storage from anywhere in the worlds of ROSE Online! This new button has been added to the Control Shortcut Buttons as the "IM" on the far left.
You can also access the Item Mall storage through the new shortcut "Alt + B"

Client update and bug fixes
Some synchronization issues when completing quests and events have been corrected to properly refresh and display when changes occur.
Due to recent and unfortunate events, the gifting function has been removed to prevent a rash of abuse from its intended use and will remain so indefinitely.

Ignore feature update
Based on community feedback, the speech bubbles from players ignored will no longer display.

Bug Fix
Added recognition if you have received the Vizier's Key skill, but had it reset through the use of a Unique Skill Reset Book, when attempting to enter the Desert City of Muris, it will be relearned. This will only take affect for those who have completed the quest beyond this patch. Previous completions will need to complete the quest again.

Known Bug
Currently using the Transgender Coupon has a high chance of causing the client to crash or behave inappropriately, however once the change is accepted, the change WILL OCCUR upon logging back in.

Oh choices of hair color, that was unexpected. Will we be able to preview them at Keenu? What happens if you use a hair color change on a bald guy?

Sucks that we can't use alt anymore. Guess there's no way to permanently have item names displaying if we want to use hotkeys anymore, since tapping and releasing ctrl turns them back off.

Well there is your answer about why they won't recolor the green snowsuit from the ancient one, they feel the need to sell 2 of the potential ones. Why didn't I see money as being the real reason why we have a duplicated event. *slaps forehead*

On another note, make sure people who sell my store such things to get me a good load of hair dye coupons? I'll buy 50 from the first person to get me with a decent price.

well I am not usually one to complain but no Gifting???

I use my main to purchase items for all of my characters guess I can't do that anymore

plus I have some of the Astarot wings of xxx still in my main characters IM storage.

no gifting a few will buy IM points, less money go to gravity , no IM seller . no scammer.. atleast make them tradable if gifting is remove..

im glad they remove again the gift option problem solved but more crying people will come plsss bring back gift option.......

x.x This caught me off gaurd.... It's only my 4th day playing, and i just got used to the controls! i had the bars set up, spells on the num bar, and lessimportant skills on alt. O.o and I dont like change... I'm like that, too me 6 months last game i played to get used to a "New" look... x.x i hope thats not the case again... Lastly... how long untill the servers are up? it the start of the weekend, the time when gamers wana play a TON XP

Nope, I hate people that want their toons to have an edge due to a severe oversight of the game developers. People happy to take advantage of anything in game that isn't fair make me sick to be honest.

Everyone should be as close as possible.

No gifting....WTF. At least the trade function is back....god what a clustermess. Maybe they could make a purchase directly to the account of someone right from the item mall? At least we know why they brought trade back...its probably still bugged out but they would have ZERO im sales if they took gift AND trade out.

i like classic way but i think they want make something news im gonna fit with it no choice
