Well... I like that built... it fits more to my playstyle... then again, I usually change skill tree every once or twice per month so I don't get bored with the same skill... but I won't get bored of TV never xD...

TV and status effects is quite more balance so you can play both roles... AoE/stats and killer... right now my stats (TV/Comet) is more for pure killer/attack built... it depends on how can u manage to survive w/o having that many defensive skills... personal style I must say...

At the end... you are the one who will feel better depending on what skill you like the most =)

Good luck =)

DEX could be 99 since you get bonus from job... INT 120, VIT 86 or so and rest on LUK... that's quite balanced...

Hey, quick question: I'm planning a build for warlock to lvl up fast.
a trans wl at lvl 150/50:
INT 120+10, VIT 96+4, DEX 104+6, LUK 53+1

Would this stats build be good for PVM? I know that the high VIT is more useful for PVP/WOE, but could I level up nicely with this build?

According to my calculations, about cast time with different DEX:
DEX 94+6, INT 120+10, variable cast time reduction 29% (+9 CoD KK), fixed cast time reduction 20% (radius lvl 3), then a 10s base skill cast would actually be 2.79805 seconds. Thats a 72.0195% reduction.

DEX 104+6, INT 120+10, variable cast time reduction 29% (+9 CoD KK), fixed cast time reduction 20% (radius lvl 3), then a 10s base skill cast would actually be 2.66423 seconds. Thats a 73.3577% reduction.

DEX 120+6, INT 120+10, variable cast time reduction 29% (+9 CoD KK), fixed cast time reduction 20% (radius lvl 3), then a 10s base skill cast would actually be 2.45783 seconds. Thats a 75.4217% reduction.

Between 100 DEX and 126 DEX, the cast time doesn't seem to be much different for me, so I guess that 104+6 is ok.

It does... for me is around 0.1 seconds per 5 DEX... I would say reduce VIT and use VIT food +10... so you can use those points on LUK to increase damage even further...

Hi "Wizard" You seems professional in playing Warlock, i stop playing RO for years(guess around 5 years?) Forget about it,i used to have a H.wizard(last time) but recently i plan to play a WARLOCK and i've no knowledge about it. Could you guide me regarding WARLOCK skills and states? I wonder why they need LUK to increase the damage? I thought we just need something like VIT,INT,DEX to have a great wizard but seems like WARLOCK have some changes. I wish to play a WOE/MVP/PVP(optional for PVP) Please let me know thanks <_<

Hello there... lol thanks for the comment above =).

Warlocks are kinda like an evolution for Mage... Mages used to have Single Target Spells, Wizard class was known for their AoE Spells... now as Warlocks, we have "Multi Target Spells" that can "spread" around the target and Full Screen AoE.

Renewal changed MATK mechanics quite a bit... Now you can get MATK from LUK, DEX and INT as it follows:

- 1 point of INT = +1.5 MATK
- 3 points of LUK = +1 MATK
- 5 points of DEX = +1 MATK

Also, every weapon have a different +MATK modifier and you can get +MATK bonuses from Upgrades Level and Weapon Level and to deal more damage, Level 4 Weapon double handed are necessary.

If you have more doubts... feel free to ask =)

Ouh, seems like dex is not that important for Warlock nowadays...So i guess Int and Luk will be the first priority to add 1st :bang: Follow by VIT and dex?
Any recommendation regarding the State please let me know.Besides, I wonder how am i going to up my skills for WOE/MVP Warlock?

this topic is really helpful for me.
just one thing i wanted to verify, i had tried many ways as warlock, pvp, debuffer, tetra,
and now planning to try that max freezing spell to cast 4x earth strain,
provided i have some of my debuff skills like frosty misty lvl5 and lvl1 whiteprison (don't really use it alot)
and max stasis.

but i want to verify since sometimes i cast 2x earth strains without cast delay,
wanna make sure of standing on strings reduce your release cast delay too?

just for my own opinion, i like 4x earth strain to avoid,
recasting recognize spell over and over.

this build also, i only do depending on my guild, if i woe with a small or big guild
