If you can see the cure for the entire guild go and get it. Simple as that.
Its not like we can poison everyone at 100%.

Its also expensive to use those poisons.

Why does TOP TIER classes who got OHKO Skills are complaining about gX. Coz they wanna stay on top. GREEDY AS Mther-_-ers.

Expensive? -_- son you don't know the MEANING of expensive. Go play a bio / genetic if you want to learn expensive. Almost EVERYTHING you do needs a catalyst ranging from 10K - 350K in market prices with most having a chance to fail when making.

Take mandragora pots. 0.5-2% drops from 2 stationary monsters that 95% of the time need to be killed one at a time. Frozen rose... just MOB titans they drop fast.

GX poisons SHOULD be gone on relog. Players should also be able to double click antidote bottles to clear themselves ( and this would be an offset for GXs since they could SELL them for a damn good price ).

genetic stuff definately is more expensive in relation to gx stuff, but that does not even matter at the least. howling is an aoe disable which in turn creates one of the most overpowered effects if the enemy is hit with it. the use of howling is 10000000000000000x greater than any gx poison, and thus the cost isnt an issue because of its extreme usefulness. dont matter if you're ballin rich, poor, homeless, crazy, kawaii, ugly, pretty. you are gonna use that skill in woe if it is really good.

plus, you are talking about obliv curse, which with 125+ int will be immune, and higher int has a high resist rate (everyone has 100 int for freeze immunity) people with 125/125 luck/vit dont even have anywhere near 100% immunity to howling

( and this would make ALL Gx poisons as scary as silence, poison, and such are now. Stupidiy easy to counter by a greenpot.)

For those who is not playing gX y'all cant feel us. I mean its really one sided unfair idea to do this kind of nerf to us. THIS IS ALL WE GOT.
On the other side, i can feel the pain of being poisoned and wait for 5mins coz my buddy gX is AFK or whatever. I CANT CURE Oblivion on my own self.

You can drink EDP or can be cured by 3 classes.

WHAT KIND OF FACE YOU GOT IF YOU ARE A GENETIC AND TELLING EVERYONE TO NERF GX POISON? Get the -_- outa here...

I think the thing that needs to be changed is that Shadow Chasers are better at spreading New Poisons around (with Deadly Infect) than GX themselves.

you should all be thankfull that GX poisons dont work with any skills except venom pressure and poison smoke. my personal feelings are that if i have a chance to poison when ctrl+clicking something to death, it should work just as any other status effect. as things are now, it doesnt, so count your blessings.

have you not read my post? i was making the point that while GX poisons do work with ctrl+click, like status ailments such as regular poison/curse/bleeding/etc, GX poisons cannnot be inflicted with any sin or sinx skills such as venom knife or grimtooth. it's my opinion that GX poisons should be treated in the same way as the old status ailments and be inflicted from any skill that takes ATK into it's damage calculation. again, you should all feel lucky that these poisons do not work with the rest of the skills available to GXes.

hmm last I checked green pots don't cost ya... hmm what could they charge outside castles on an alt merch... 750K....1-2M might sell even..... EVERY single time a person gets inflicted. Hell you could make a GX to JUST go around poisoning people in castles that your vendor is set up outside of and turn a hell of a profit.

Hmm the kind that I put on the back burner for now because leveling at 125+ is boring and expensive as all hell? I have been playing my sorcerer lately.... and genetics are gravy. Howling? Who cares? have your meat shield pin him down, crystallize him and drop him. CS will still hit him even if the cast is slow, FL still hits wherever he moved to ( unless it is far enough around a corner ) hell, they have so much SP you can mostly kill em by soul burning them, or even siphoning.

GX poisons on the other hand have *3* seperate classes that can remove them + most can be resisted with simple stats, learn teamwork.

If anything the poisons need to be buffed.

IF your guild sucks so badly they have nobody that can remove the poison, then die. You dont lose your equipment or levels, dying during woe is essentially the same as logging out or bwinging so get over it.

Hey I know, since EDP is pretty useless now, make it 4x the effect of other poisons. 4x the damage or 4x more frequent on the non-damage ones, or 4x duration maybe. HA.

That would be cute: setting a shop with antidotes outside so the first person who enters kills you making you waste a poison that prolly costed more than 1 of your sold antidotes.

Point is: the ingredients for antidote are incredibly cheap: 2 green herbs, 1 blue and white herbs. Sorry for breaking your dreams of becoming rich, but anyone can make a potting Gx and leave it at job 12, and with such easy ingredients, antidotes would rarely cost over 30k zeny, if not free, paid from guild fund.

Just like how poison and mute are easily ignorable status, because you can readily pot a green potion a second after, all the Gx skills would become worthless.

Seeing people playing strong clases complain about the not so strong classes somehow makes me feel better xP.

I'm fairly certain that I have complained of how broken Exceed Break is in the Royal Guard section of the Renewal forums. It too needs to be fixed. I can understand your angst towards your class and want it to be stronger, but as the poisons are currently, it's just broken. Nothing more. This isn't me being biased or wanting to dominate all other classes. All things considered I think the points I made in my previous post are valid and have yet to be rebutted by anything of value.

Not entirely correct. Divests (and armor breaks) can be prevented simply by having an alt char in town to coat you before you enter into a castle/fight. If memory serves me correctly FCP lasts somewhere around 10min. The only way to be divested while under FCP is with Masquerade Weakness (also maybe Earth Strain from Warlocks but for the sake of your argument let's stick with Shadow Chasers). When a SC uses MW on you the duration is a matter of seconds, not minutes. It's possible to survive the duration of MW and reequip your gears in a short amount of time. Is MW useless? Hell no. Does it put you at a sever disadvantage for the duration? Hell yes. Is it broken? No. The GX poisons should have a similar duration if only just slightly longer (1-2min). If you believe that the counter for divests is an appropriate one then allow a counter for GX poisons that you can use in town on a char that last for 10min and is immune to dispel. Getting the picture yet? Currently the best counter to GX poison is GX poison lol. How much sense does that make? Poison yourself with something else to avoid being poisoned by the same class. It makes no sense at all that GX should be it's own counter measure anyway. But that would take us into another conversation lol.

TLDR: GX poisons need some adjustments. There aren't any valid arguments against the imbalanced aspects of the statuses. Only people saying "OMG PLEASE DONT NERF MY CLASS!"

L2read, not playing genetic since I got bored of throwing money at it.
Since when is a sorcerer a "strong" class? If anything they are middle of the road. They have a few decent debuffs, no real OHKO skills, SW is still broken, blinding mist only blocks / reduces SOME ranged 3rd class skills.... in a one VS one fight the sorc will lose probably 8/10 times. Even with strings + sacrament + buffs + food + 110 base INT + 100 base DEX + foresight people can just walk out of your cast area by the time you are done casting <.< Sleep works.... on some characters. fiber lock still works... for way to short of a time on characters, and monk class can snap out of it which is still BS.

GX Poisons are much too powerful. A 4 minute duration that can't be taken off by logging out or anything is a complete nuisance. It costs way more for a player to outpot this damage than for the GX to make and use the potion. And, besides, 900-1200k damage every 2 seconds is just ridiculous. A 1 minute duration with 50% reduction in the damage makes a lot more sense. A 1 minute duration on the other poison also makes sense.


GX poisons have a counter-- a friendly GX with Antidote.
