If you are currently having client issues, please try running through our checklist and see if there is anything that you may have missed or haven't tried and try them.

Have you tried...

- running the installer again and choosing the "repair" option to have it repair any issues that may have occurred intially. The client may have experienced a corruption of files and have caused it not to be able to run properly.

- checking your Antivirus program to make sure it is not blocking the game from connecting. Also, updating the anti-virus program and running to make sure nothing else is hindering the connection as well. Another solution is to disable the antivirus or malware program's realtime scanning.
- checking your firewall settings to be able allow Dragon Saga to connect. This may be on a a network or a router.

- checking your port settings to allow Dragon Saga. Port Forwarding is required. The ports that Dragon Saga runs from are 16268, 12031, and 12032.

- defragging or doing a disk clean up for the drive that Dragon Saga will be installed to.

- making sure that during either installation, patching, or connecting that no other programs are running in the background.

- running the client and/or the patcher as an Administrator. This applies to users running Windows Vista or Windows 7.

- removing all previous versions of Dragon Saga so that it does not interfere with the current client as it may be running off old registry files.

- re-patching the client by removing the patch.id file and running the patcher again.

- running a clean installation of Dragon Saga. In order to do this, you must remove all previous files that are related to the Dragon Saga installation. Then download the client from the link below and running the installer.

Dragon Saga Client Download Here

- the final solution, last resort, of downloading the Trend Micro program called Hijack This. The program will scan the PC and see if there is any malware or spyware that may be hindering programs that are being run. A text file will be created and this file should be sent into the WarpPortal Support team found here.

We hope one of these solutions will help resolve your issues.

Yeah I've tried it all and the worst part is the fact that i was playing the game BEFORE THE MAINTENANCE today... Failed to patch... Oh and script errors on the patcher for the past 2 days NOICE YAWL!!!! Now i get to waste more time deleting my character waiting ANOTHER 24 HOURS to get the name back (another pure fail) and start from square one when im lvl 18 already.... Thanx guys..... WAS and i STRESS "was" enjoying myself playing DS Oh and the client lag fix WOULD B NICE since it ruins a perfect dodge run :/ Yall need a real tech team instead of who ever u got running maintenance and blowing the game to smitherines

Did you create a WarpPortal account? After creating the WarpPortal account, did you create a Dragon Saga account? Has the WarpPortal account been verified?

Have you tried checking to make sure the password was correct? It also gives the same error as if the ID was incorrect. Try resetting your password if you're unsure by logging into the WarpPortal site, going to Game Accounts, and selecting the Edit button where your Dragon Saga account is. Then select to retrieve your password/reset password.

hey everybody, i have a problem with my game client, so the thing is, 1st thing i did today was run the patch, it finished patching and when i clicked start, it said cant run game client(MSG41)and have tried several times already, to no avail. tried reinstalling dragon saga twice and it doesnt work either, ran it from gateway, still doesnt work. does anybody have similar problems or a soloution for this? im bored to death already, thanks :waddle: by the way, ive already tried most of the methods on the aforementioned posts.
