I've died twice to lag and gave up. 3% is a ton when there's no event and you're over lvl 98

But, yeah, RO has always been full of unnecessary sadistic features. I never understood this. I do agree though the lag is frustrating, they did an announcement last night about the latency/connection issues so hope they can fix it next maint.

Since renewal there's been no risk at all in leveling, so the penalty only:
1. pisses off players
2. prevents enjoyment of potentially fun activities like ET, until you're 150/50
3. seemingly increases revenue through sales of "lag insurance" until you start considering the number of people put off by the whole system
