Just wondering what the success rate for making +20 foods one at a time (instead of the level 2 skill) is normally for those who do it? Normal Geneticist builds would be around 100 int and a few dex here and there. no luck basically. Can anyone share their success rates? And on what build?
Thanks in advance~

Ahh,heres the thing. I've tested my rates a little bit on a 124/35 geneticist, and i found that my rates were ABSOLOUTELY HORRENDOUS. It was roughly a 10% success rate (2/20 success). It was odd, because when i did it on a 150/50 geneticist in yggdrasil during the test day,my success rate was actually 100%.
My 124 geneticist has 100 int/93 dex and 70 luk. This should tell you that base/job levels are MOST important first, and to get a really good rate, you'd need to be 150/50. The test geneticist had only 100 int/dex and 0 luk.

Wow, thanks for that input (and warning). I was planning on making vit+20 food and the ingredients cost a fortune! I was thinking of using a minstrel with 99 luck for it but then again maybe the stats aren't important from what you've said.

Yeah they are.
pure brew genetic 99/19 150 LUK 158 DEX and ~30 INT ( with normal +10 foods and gears ) is ~80% success rates. More INT would help and job level help a LOT, just like normal brewing.
