how mutch hp does lvl 10 ilusion have?
does it have any def/eva? if yes, is it dependent to player def/eva?
can ilusion be healed like pets?
can you hp buff ilusion like pets?

Some background bout illusions...they suck when you hit lvl 60 for pve reguardless what lvl you have your illusion, but at pvp theyre still good for distracting players miss targeting you and your entourage of pets (assuming your a domi lol)
Id wanna say the def it has is based on the armor your wearing, not terribly sure, eva is not there
Never tried healing him...but ik he can be buffed
Hope that somewhat helps

I have mine on lvl 1, but was thinking of using a illusion as a tank, but if it get useless at 60 than there is no point in investing any more points.
Main idea was to use illusion to tank bosses (i know it is far fetched). Pets have are so weak DPS that they cant take over aggro in a million years so all you need i to heal illusion and dps to keep aggro on you/illusion.
This is how i think dominator should work. Main problem is illusion hp/def if mobs/boss cut trough her like butter than there is no point in illusion. Maybe Medium Illuson, on lvl 60 with better def and hp?
My dominator "to be" is now on lvl20, planing to reskill on 60~70 so i can use first kazara, might try this illusion stuff just to see how it works out. I don't have much interest in pvp.
Tnx for help

Theres no Medium Illusion...and im just curious how you would make it tank since technically it can't attack...
The Illusion works as a meat shield, once you take aggro of a monster, it'll go straight to the illusion, which ALWAYS stands next to you (smart huh lol). Which is why at 60 it gets useless (even at capped...37 lmao) it still gets 1-3 shotted by most of the lvl 60's, and bam the monster is right next to you attacking
If your going for the pure domi solo dungeon style, Shadow Binding is the only tank you need, max it out on points and extended dna, keeps them in one spot for 80secs i believe (check me on that one) and you can just keep casting it whenever they start charging you (granted it hits)
And pets by themselves, yes crappy DPS, but all 4 together (as a dominator) its almost like having a resummonable weakened version of a sin with you doing about 200-400 damage per sec or so (going off dungeon damage, they can easily take out a lvl 69 elite themselves outside of dungeons)

I know that there is no Medium Illusion, that part was just a suggestion. And the part when illusion is standing right next is a tricky one. But this was just an idea of maybe how dominator should work, maybe.

Well, I've seen various styles of dominators at work, there's my style of using the pets as extra DPS for most scenarios, and then some ppl actually use them with the buffs and heals and etc
Both can be made work, but I prefer my style...cuz Shadow Binding rocks <3
But yea...a Medium Illusion wouldn't kill to have

I'm using dps build with pets support too, if they decide to give few skill resets when new map comes I'm gonna try out heal and debuff build with pets.
Btw what DNA did you take?
I'm thinking of maxing vampire cast speed, vampire downtime reduction to 7 or 8 and bind to 8 or 7.

My DNA is screwed up, I need a reset for it...wish they had JUST DNA resets instead of taking the skills and DNA since my skills are fine
If I were to take a reset on my DNA, I'd take 10 Extended Shadow Binding, 10 Strengthened Vamp Touch, and 5 Swift Vamp Touch

Yea, Im not totally caring with the Offensive debuff since it only kills accuracy, but defensive debuff is great
Pet buffs truly do suck unless you rly want to be the type of domi that lets the pets do the work
