Broken Sorceror Job Change?

Hi,
Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong. The NPC at the top of the Geffen tower, "Meritos" won't initiate the sorceror job change quest for me. I'm on Ymir, Scholar is 99/70 and I've got VIP status so I shouldn't need a reset stone... And yes I've already submitted a ticket, just wondering if anyone else has this problem or if I'm missing some important step.

...er nevermind I think I just figured out why, unused skillpoint. Yep. Please delete this topic, quest works fine, I'm an idiot.
