owl baron card..

im thinking of using owl baron card just for fun.. and ask some people of how good it might be..
but still answers are not clear enough..

if ur a agi build with auto cast lex aeterna with 193 aspd.. would it be good enough to use that card?

chance is 3% i know the chance is too low.. but with other auto cast things only have 5% chance to proc. it really did well for the other auto casts..

so do you guys think that owl baron card is good?

By the card alone, the effect would be poor in my opinion.

Think like this: every 100 attacks, you will the extra damage of 3 attacks. That is increasing your attack by about 3% overtime. Several other gear has better effects, for example, the kvm badges have around the same damage increase, but also offer elemental resistance, +HP, and aspd bonus effect, or the regular BG badges have a higher percent damage increase...

Also, if you use the card with not a just meleeing class, consider the afterdelay of lex which might be annoying...

Since when? it's always procced when melee attacking back when I used it. I used it on my hindsight sage pre-RE... and that thing fleed everything. The lex went off quite a bit actually. Unless it procs from fleed hits from the mob....

Yeah,renewal.playragnarok.com has a lot of stuff messed up, some stuff there is correct.. but a lot is slightly off.


As for is the card useful, it depends. The hit seems to have to land for it to proc - it didn't do what I was hoping it would, if I endowed myself with an element that the mob was immune to it would NOT lex so my next hindsighted bolt would do double damage. For a pure melee class it isn't a bad card IF you don't use the accessory slot for something else while leveling. With high ASPD ( even 181ish should be high enough to proc pretty well I think, the higher the better though since it is more chances ) it should go off pretty regularly. Just like any other chance thing though it might just decide to not proc at all for a while, then proc all the time all of a sudden.

As someone else noted, if you use skills a lot it can become annoying because of the aftercast delay.

Don't know much about the bard links... I haven't played bard class since long long before Wild Blades and the WAVE and FEAR alliances where on chaos..... so it's been more than a few years :-)
