1) Make alt
2) Buy a unique and some gems to tweak him
3) Lvl to 220
4) Realise character is useless now
5) Go back to 1

kings droprate is crap ...right!
mats dropping rate for crafting ...also crap!
but licents are droping like rain, if you know the right spots.
why you are crying about the "low" droprate of the licents?
to get an item over (10) till (15) should be rar and not common.
the shops are full of licents and the prices are ok.
iam playing since beta and i start again a month ago. in this month i do more ingame money like all the years together.
ok...inflation is a point but the lower population equate it.
so plz change the drop tables of kings and craft-mats and lower the droprate of licents, because it to easy to get 10+ items at the moment.

He is. 2months ago I logged in from 2year break and my raider (lvl204) had very funny gear compared to ingame economy. His weapon was HGK +6 and armor lvl160 reinforced +6 with 12dex substats.
Today thats funny gear but when I left him that was one of the most sick gears you could get as an average gamer. Anything above +5 could break and no runes back then. Also no lvl200 armor. No cheap UW gear. No epics. No overload of gems because only dropped from kings or in goblin cave. No overload of chemicals because only dropped in goblin cave. Leveling at that high level was at least a half day for 1 level. Also no dodge rate gem (Jade was HP+MP recov combo gem back then). And katar raider still had an aoe then ^^


Nah. Rose has certainly been getting a lot easier than it ever was.
Standards of how strong you want your characters now have risen by a lot, while enemy monsters did not make that jump.

Average player could have easily had +7 gear. The last time +6 gear was "sick" for average players was in pre-evo or beginning of Evo. Oh, and I had +9/8 gear over 3 years ago without ever farming for days or even hours, there's a thing called vending. :blink:

I feel bad if you have to work 12 hours a day though. Doesn't leave you much time for your so called life. lol

im in gates of muris and when i go up to the gate i get dialog from heburn but he doesnt apear so i caint kill him to get the key, zeplin please help.

i chose to post here because my other post in bug forums is not getting feedback. iv done all the quest hints to me getting dialog from him at gate.

Maybe its another way for them to force you to buy item mall e.g. medal of retrievals or starting a noob and spending item mall points to make it good for farming low level monsters

just going thru the drop info on the compendium. zep would ya ask them there devs to plz put wolf steel back in game as a drop??
kinda missing the days when luna drops included wolf steel, etil, ice shard, etc as a standard map drop for all of luna. !!!

also only one map location for each metal rather stinks for metals wolf steel, molive, mythril, orihacon, etc etc. they are needed for back sheilds, carts and cart parts, etc. and leveling clan grades as well. (philosopher stone has multiple map drops but is only used in 1 shiled) .

ice shard is still a monster only drop yet is used in 4 different mask/subitem crafts (the powers that be want to see the Mount Eucara map utilized? lol

can you all fix the nymph powder and essence,paper wing peices, dragon scale and so on. you have nymph powder, bird feathers, LDF, LAF dropping in nearly every map in game, great for LDF & LAF. however, bird feather & nymph powder are both used in crafting only one low level item, The devs still need to compare crafting mats with item drops, what and how many items are each used to craft, vs the number of and ratio of drops, where and how many drop, and so on. (i.e., chromium for chromium bullets. some artis gona be frustrated there - or the sikuku skirt which makes 1 wing drops from about 30 monsters, where as paper wing peices make 2 wings, but only drop from 3 monsters.) it would be great if you had most crafting mats as map drops, not mosnter drops. and please put dragon scales back at frost worms. Also, knowing that something drops off the red / blue dragon (scales) does us no good (same with clay walker drops. seriously???)

Im sure the devs have a "method to thier madness" but as a sen arti that farms every mat in game, it makes no sense to me. and many other artisans i know in game.

also please note, broken pharoh emblem does not drop.

and tyvm purple youkko for getting the drop tables updated once more.

Even as a new player and never really paying attention to the drops, I do agree. Things need to be changed.
The first thing I noticed is the fact that armors drop extremely often, and you have various random components
that drop for the new players that have NO idea what they're used for. Why are you including them in the drops
when they're only going to either junk them, not pick them up (from over-doing the drops,) or selling them to
the NPC Markets? I have to have a friend of mine tell me what to keep and what to junk because the drop
list is extremely unstable and most of the materials I pick up I can't use, as I have no idea what they're for.

Catalysts and other crafting materials, at least to some extent, should be saved for the higher level characters
who can put them to use. Artisans need them, yeah, I know. If that's the case, catalyst and component drops
should be changed as a Map Drop and not as individual Monster Drops. The Map Drop percentage should
then be toned down in order to avoid massive amounts of drops for people who use AoE's to Farm Mobs.

We need an updated database for Rose in order to enlighten the new players. This isn't newb-friendly at all.

But that's true for any rpg and it's a good thing about rpg's that you have to learn what certain drops are for. You only have to spend some time on the markets to learn what is valuable and if you don't wish that, then just NPC the item or don't pick it up.

It would only be problematic if you wouldn't have a learning curve on which drops to keep or throw away.



Just be glad you have someone who is willing to help you in telling what to keep. Many people learn it by themselves and most enjoy that actually in an rpg.
Personally I would suggest stockpiling all special drops because if you ever decide to make an artisan, you'll be glad you did. Survive from selling chemicals and catalysts, keep special materials.
