Before the maintenance you can leave novice grounds once you are 6/10 (which is really just about 10~15 mobs)
Now you can't leave until you are 11/10, and even then you can only leave via acolyte

And now there is some 30 novices running around training grounds fighting out for the same mobs (i know you can move to high levels, but having to heal from the npc every two mobs isn't any faster)

Any game that imposes a two/three hours on one map killing the same mobs before you get to leave this place can not be considered a leisure activity, please fix it ASAP

Hm, I made a new char just last night, and didn't have that issue.

What you need to do, as the NPCs tell you, is to do a quest from each of these npcs:

Brade (kill 1 poring)

Swordsman (kill 2 picky)

Mage (kill 5 lunatic)

Thief (kill 5 willow)

Merchant (get 300z)

First kill the poring, then start all 4 quests, then kill the 5 bunnies on the first map, then move to second map, and kill the pickies and willows. Talk to the three npcs who gave you those quest for your reward. You'll be all set now, except for the 300z you need for the merchant guide's quest. Start killing the condors on that map (only attack one if you can get it alone), and they'll drop oranges at a half-decent rate. Sell 2 oranges to the npc for 150z each, and talk to the merchant guide to finish his quest.

It's not as fast to get chars made as it was, but it's still only like 15-20 minutes tops.

While I was trying to bring out a new vender the place was basically packed, and there was ones who said they've been there for hours, didn't know about the quests, it seems most people tend to just grind straight to 11 in there because they don't know any other way
