"The 10 Commandments of RO by Weggy's Ragnarok Online FAQ
8) Thou Shalt Not Beg Mercenaries of God for his forgiveness
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Acolytes are not your personal, walking red potion. Most will give you a
heal if you ask nicely though. Asking nicely would be "If it's not too much
trouble, could I have a heal?" or "Can you please heal me?". "HEAL PLZ" and
"HEAL NOW" will not do. As I always tell people, if your too lazy to even
write out "please", you don't deserve a heal. If the Acolyte does heal you,
be sure and say thanks. Also, feel free to tip them. About 20z for every 100
HP is good. They also really like Blue gems for thier warps.
And please tip them if one helps you or the Blacksmith you hired to forge."

I really don't understand why you would have this name as a character and make a thread like this.
Step one make a character's name something like : I give free zeny to newcomers
Newcomer 1: Is it true that....?
You: Haha, no.
Step 3, troll on the forum about it >.>
Since when am I named Free Warps to Prontera?

I never deny someone warp, even if it's my last blue gem and I am poor, but hey, I'm a nice guy.
I concur, especially on my warp slaves, I have no problem helping out. Blue gems cost virtually nothing, the only problem I have with my warp slave is she only has 90 SP
I do dislike the people that follow me around demand buffs or ALL CAPS demanding heals at the spawn points. Especially from my battle priest
This post should probably get closed. OP is a jerk, mission accomplished etc etc.

You do come across kinda like a jackass, not because you would have done something wrong, but for how you handled the situation. Of course you don't Have to warp anyone, but you don't Have to be a jerk about it either. Which I would not usually think twice, but in this case you're being a jerk And talking about unpolite people.
I think "Porfavor" means "please" and "presiosa" means "beatiful" in spanish? So to me it looks like you just stood there being pretentious bastard not caring to even warp a noobie (who cannot write in english) to Prontera. Only because you have your own standards on how You think you should be treated that they had no way of knowing. Note: I'm not saying this is how it went and how it was, I'm saying that is the impression I get when I read your post
I also consider it to be of bad taste to post screenshots with their ign's in it.
edit:
again, not saying the op is a clown/jerk/something.
I'm saying it's the impression I get from the screenshots.
I'm also not saying the guys in the screenshots are polite.
I'm not saying I would be any nicer to them.
But I also don't preach about being polite (nor do I consider myself to be such).

People would stare at you and probably give you the stink eye until you left. That is, if the staff didn't ask you to leave for shouting the same thing over and over.
In that second screenshot, the person may not have known English, but shouting the same thing over and over every few seconds isn't good etiquette in any language. The person should have opened a chatroom, or sucked it up and walked if nobody acquiesced to his demand after the first 3 times asking.

Though I do agree, a chatroom would be the best solution, but walking~ He might have walking into eden from a really obscure place. Like, I know theres an Eden Npc where you change to thief, and in that labyrinth, there are a lot of Familiars, he might not have been able to walk out thanks to those.
I don't think this was the case, but it very well could be. I asked for a warp just a few minutes after these screens.

I just can't see it reaching the level of importance where you have to spam hysterically 10 times? It's not like it takes an hour to walk manually from one spot to another. It's like 5 minutes.

Having just created a thief class character, you get dropped right next to a portal that leads you through an area filled with monsters you never see before and no clue how to get to the job change NPC or out to a proper town. Not exactly the friendliest welcome for new players...we need to evaluate the starting process if we're going to try getting some new players into the game.Though I do agree, a chatroom would be the best solution, but walking~ He might have walking into eden from a really obscure place. I do agree though that OP was being a jerk toward these 2 who asked please, and it's not their fault that they aren't good at English =/
ODA@ back in my pre-renewal times when I first joined, I asked for help quite a lot, but people ignored me sometimes, others gave me tips, but guess what, I enjoyed traveling alone and learning alone, it's not that hard, but belive me it's so much fun.

Having said that im pretty sure the last thief i made got plonked right next to the job change NPC after leaving Eden, but maybe I was on autopilot since i've gone down there like 10k times. If your not job 10 though, GOOD LUCK KILLING FAMILARS oo ouch.

When you're starting out it can be very confusing to get around the world map, as RO has a much less linear progression of area difficulty than most other games, it can be tough starting out to even know how powerful a monster is before you engage it.
Having just created a thief class character, you get dropped right next to a portal that leads you through an area filled with monsters you never see before and no clue how to get to the job change NPC or out to a proper town. Not exactly the friendliest welcome for new players...we need to evaluate the starting process if we're going to try getting some new players into the game.
RO might be an old game, but it has the mechanics to make decent solutions to guide players around: the quest window can display images, give directions, the npcs can display images too, there is a minimap which can be marked, etc.
How about we take the pokemon approach to solve the newbie jobchanging?
In pokemon games, if you try to walk away from the town before picking your first pokemon, or doing whatever you have to do before leaving, some npc will stop you until you do what you have to do.
In RO, you could disable the portals which leads to maps away from the jobchange if the character is a novice (or add a message and a confirmation when stepping in such portal: "This portal leads into monster zones and away from the job change area. Are you really sure you want to leave?").
That might not directly lead the newbie into the right npc, but eventually, wandering in the small restricted area, he/she will find the correct npc.
Additionally, you could do a more intensive use of the feature that displays images!. So far, I can only remember that feature used twice in the training grounds for random explanations, and once in the crow of destiny quest, I think:
Set the npc in training grounds that leads you to job change area with a pop up picture like this and tell something like: "when you reach there, follow your minimap to reach the secret job change area, like in the picture"
**************************************************************
If you really want, you could even start revamping all quests with images and better guides, which I'm sure several of us would love to do. But you would also need to change quests so they are decent to do, every quest in renewal gives rewards in order of hundreds lower of what they should give.

But yeah, he was probably just lazy, and I sympatize.
Imo, OP is making a hen out of a feather, a mountain out of a molehill, your own damn fault for making an acolyte with a name like that, what did you think was going to happen? I made an acolyte named Buffmeister, I know full well what future awaits me, and I welcome it! Because I am a nice guy.

Or you know, you could check iRO wiki.
