Okay, we all know KVM is ruined with a 5min after-game delay and an impossibility to switch teams if 1 team has 12 player the other has 3, for me when i first starting playing ragnarok and did my first few KVM battles i loved it. i was addicted to kvm even tho luckless would 1hit my poor blacksmith it didnt stop me earning my full KVM set.

KVM was riddle with farmers and basically sore losers, a decent 5 man party could slaughter game after game, hell 1 player could be the reason for a win or a defeat.

KVM was ruined and placed with a 5min aftergame deley due to the reason of farming. at the time im sure the gms were getting tons and tons of tickets regarding farming, from 5 vs 0 battles for a 45second turn around to a 5 vs 5 unfair matchplay with 4 alts on 1 side. the problem wasnt this as such, the problem here was player whining about it and the GM's taking the easy road and destroying KVM forever...

my predication for USRC is a whitewash by last years teams, no new entry are going to surface, no out-of this world players will attend and most of attendance will be an all time low.

the reason i predict all this is due to 1 reason KVM, KVM is a place to party in small 5man partys over and over in a USRC type situation. Its also a place to meet players who share common interest and common goals. For me id love to compete in USRC but to find a full 7 players, where do i look... WOE/My Guild isnt a very good place, everyone has different skill sets and everyone has different interest.

ITS TO LATE TO SAVE USRC, but after its all said and done remember that i told you so, remember that KVM was the reason!!

Vote NO to randimation of KVM, Vote yes to Farming, Vote yes and restore KVM to its former glory, Vote yes and show us you can solo 5 players!!

If you support the restoration of KVM back to the FARMING, UNRANDOMIZED, NO AFTER-GAME DELAYS(former glory) then copy and paste this thread into a ticket and send it to the GM team to read

Is this a real attempt to say farming was the fun thing, or a joke?

Just trying to be sure o-o

USRC is sooooo far from being like KVM, I could only think that you have no participated in USRC or you may have participated but are disregarding the important things like limite gear, levels, rules, environment, etc...

One of the most fun over usrc is that unlike woe or kvm, gear is less an issue, and skill matters the most. Organization matters, having a good team matters.

Comparing that to farming kvm where you go like, 5 afk alts on one side, a supernovice in the other to thunderstorm the ungeared alts who die in one hit, and call it the same is soo uhhh...

I'm NOT saying that the five minute delay was a good idea. It was as bad idea as a farming setup full of bugs like it was before. But the fix wouldn't be going back to farming full of bugs, the fix would be to have actual fights with good enough reward without delay.

As someone said in other thread, if the rewards were more even, like 5 points for win vs 4 points for lose, then people would have a lot less reasons for switching/farming/quitting on lose, and actual fights could take place.

Are you freakin' serious? Farming was not fun, it was NEVER fun. It was more a chore than fun. I'd rather do the regular battles back in the day than have to do another farm run. Have I ever farmed, yes, only because that was the way to convince people to TRY to play BG and KvM. My fondest memory of BG was a 90-minute battle that took place the first week it came out on Flav.

Forget the fact the battle was as long as a WoE battle, and with only a few medals. IT WAS FUN!

how so, when i first did KVM i had no gear, i was in kvm to get good gear...
rules and environment match USRC, you cant learn woe rules in PVP and you sure as hell can learn team work in WOE because you get stormed by god items...

But you said it all, organization matters and for those 4 hours per week your play in WOE is total chaos... KVM is USRC training ground how else do you form a good team.

p.s. if someone is farming these days a shadow chaser can always warp the alts away...

Between other important changes...,

-USRC has limited set of weapons and gear, so you don't have someone wearing god items or supergear while others are ungeared.
-USRC has restriced several cards which makes it impossible, for example, to get several status resistances (mainly freeze, stone, stun by gear), or unbalancing effects, like wearing your mayaP and render hiding skills useless, or GTB and rendering targeted magiclike skills useless, between others.
-USRC has limited supplies and kind of supplies; which makes impossible things that happen in kvm like just enter and spamming acid bomb, EDPs, while potting yggdrasyl berries or something like that.
- Unlike kvm, USRC happens in a closed enviroment, where you can't buff outside right before going, so no soul link, coatings, and other buffs before starting.
- Unlike kvm, USRC has a limited class organization, so instead of having like, one side full of EDPed assassin crosses and the other side have one afk alchy, a supernovice and 3 priests; in USRC you must form a team with varied classes
- Unlike kvm, USRC balances levels and jobs. You have all characters fixed at level... not like, team 140+ VS team level 80.
- Other things lazy to point out...

Has kvm ever looked something organized like this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugvN4q8uOMg
(I know it's not the best usrc match but meh, it has a high priest 03 saying 'wow we are not teh worst at the end' xP)
If your answer is yes, then what a weird round of KVM did you play. It's like comparing tomatoes to elephants <_<

I dont recall watching any USRC match where 80% of the team sat in a corner and chatted, and still won

GL with USRC. because that video is basically what the whole things going to be like, total whitewash...

No one ever plays fair, if thats your argument so be it. But limiting access to like minded players and a decent training ground which imitates USRC is just reducing attendance and skill sets. (HAXED ATTENDANCE)

This post is about restoring KVM and bringing into consideration that due to it been unusable USRC has suffered.

p.s. if ur 5man party can deal with 1 goded ale spammer... thats a good start.

USRC is going to be fun ^^. USRC is going to be a total white-wash of storm gusts and magnetic earths :3, like always.

Good luck with whatever you are trying to push for kvm (but I doubt you can make it pass as kvm having anything to do with usrc while saying you just want farming in your first post xP)

PS: if your 5 man party can keep one god item user spamming ales interested, then that is not good, that is a miracle!
