Just wondering which is better despair or shade. i know despair has SCAD and CON, but lacks skill crit chance. While Shade has MND=Skill crit chance and is purple. Which one do you guys think is better?

On mystic, 88 mind gives around 0.43% skill critical. Getting skill critical chance through mind is one of the worst ideas ever >_<
I prefer despair in every aspect, i even prefer it as for the appearence.

Despair cuz defi need hp and dmg leave mnd to helers With ornaments u can make 40 % crit easly

lol don't believe everything u read in troll general section.
despair is the best for Defiler
if hatred(75 had int instead of mind it would be 1st pace. alas mnd sux, scad + con = win
jewelry 0.5scrit x5(enchant slots)x8 = 20% scrit, and if you succeed all 8 or 7 enchant slots you don't need to worry about scrit%
+ there are staffs that add scrit

Shade is better just cause its more smexy and if you chose Despair your just gonna look like Drizzt....
p.s. does any real defi actually use shade? (for alts its ok gork )

i guess if someone is pretty much purely pve/raid they could use shade as it has same dmg as despair but would give good mp rec too and bit of scrit

how u fight on foc/theme/svs ?you don't really need more than 3k hp for most raids + you get 4k worth from buffs

depends on what raid.
in rh you can not die with 2k hp
in biskra 3k hp
in robo about 6k hp
in DC just need enough to cancel duel so maybe 5k
lw depends how well you move and your resist
tyrant and plugg need more hp but i just wanted to show that not much hp is needed as caster for most raids

I like despairs stats but too many ppl have it. And quite frankly despair is a goofy looking set, im tired of my defiler having holes in his pants like he works at a gay strip club. The only set that didnt have those lame holes in the pants was the 79 set, but the stats on those are terrible >.>
