Ways to cancel the skill's are of effect circle

Is quite annoying when one want to cancel the casting of a ground aoe, trap or totem and need to press the ESC key to do it.

My initial suggestion would be to be able to cancel it by right clic. The only problem with that would be if someone want to right clic to turn in another direction while have the ground aoe circle displayed. If someone have a better alternative, plz suggest it.

(edited) this also could be used to cancel the casting time of all the skills, instead of press the ESC key.

Yes, that cancels the casting but not the targeting circles.
