Suggested this years ago but never agreed by majority of the people. I would definitely like this to be in game even if it's IM.

I think Bluehell was referring to the fact that people want to buy a set from another player that is not refined. If you would have the option to degrade an item, you wouldn't have to look for an unrefined set.-1

I can see how this can be handy, but overall I just see this as a waste of money.I think Bluehell was referring to the fact that people want to buy a set from another player that is not refined. If you would have the option to degrade an item, you wouldn't have to look for an unrefined set.
What if the player scams you into degrading your item and then cancels the trade?
Degrade it yourself? But isn't that a waste of money as well? You would be better set buying an original set that wasn't refined.
The money you spend degrading it could be spent to refine it instead after you buy it. ;|

I can only see this being truly useful on event items or IM items that aren't easily dropped from monsters. XP

Oh, well that's true.I don't see what's so difficult at having an option at Crune that says: I would like to degrade my item back to 0.
I thought someone suggested that it be an IM item though.
There should be a (10) option (if you're over 10,) or 0 if you're 10 or below.

Why do you think I said it sounded retarded? lmaoCharging money for degrading an item? That wouldn't do very well in this community
If it's free? Sure, have at it.
But the problem still stands. Are they going to pay you for the full refined equipment? If not, it's pointless to degrade/sell it; you're losing money.
And if you sell it to them for cheaper since they're going to degrade it, you're still losing money. Lol
What I mean is, they should pay you for the full price anyway, and then degrade it themselves. But it's honestly 10x cheaper to get a unrefined set from someone else.

1 concern, lending out gears can be annoying if the little "censored" degrades your 15 item, then again he could also sell it ... I'm just saying.

that would be classic+1, some things are refined by other people and are wanted unrefined, its easy and simle to put in

I always try to buy my stuff no refine, if I decide I want to refine them, I could do so myself.

Well that gets kinda hard at say 1-3 except for when its a "refine event"you could always try refining them with no lisents.
That will soon degrade them

If you want to turn of glow you would press the skill and a slot would appear. you put the item in the slot and no one can see the glow on the item, regardless of refine. Turning on the glow would make it so that everyone can see the glow again. Dont see glow would mean no one sees any of the equipment you wear as a glow, and you cant see other glows. Seeing it would just turn it to normal. Items would be marked "glowing" if you turned the option on.
But if there is another reason, cuz i new to this game, then bluehell's is better.

If you just want to get rid of glow, then in skill menu there should be 4 options: turn off glow, turn on glow, dont see glow, and see glow.

By your suggestion, you can simply just go to the video setting and turn it all the way down with sharp edges and dull color without the glow. The main point was to get rid of the refine while you are still able to enjoy the actual color and the graphics as the costume realeased.

The degrade option should be available only for the costumes.

did you read it? by my suggestion you would see it the same way you would with out the refine and not dulling anything else.
