so...Assassin Goints...anyone have any thing they want to say on the topic of these? I want a PvP build, but also some tips if there are any. I was never really big on my PB while in Valdes, but i have been told that they are almost necessary in hammy. i know he has some hard hitting skills, and some nice AoE skills, but is there a good build so the goint can be used with an assassin mindset with out using just regular skills?

Assassin is the best Kruxena class for using Giont because its damage is physical, even if you're a defiler or domi. Better even than SR because of scud and assassin class's multiple AoEs. Most sins use an AA/CAD build, while Giont's damage boost comes mostly from the skill damage amplifier for PB so if you're into skillspamming, or geared for it in part or in whole, it's quite a nice killing machine. The major drawback of Giont use for a rogue is that people can very often see you in stealth when you are in PB (probably about 80-90% of the time). If you're trying to PB AoE a group, you will most likely get seen, shot, and lose stealth before you get there.

Unlike other classes that can simply attack from afar and doing HUGE damage, for us (Sins), its a little bit different and trickier than berzerkers/WLs, as Vosk said we get Stealth bug a lot during PB form so people will try and unstealth you before you Scud. But once you land that scud, preferably on one of their CC's or Healer (since most people tend to stay around the CC or the Healer), you can unleash some crazy damage until ppl go o0. So skill pattern will pretty much be, Scud> Annihilator Hammer (there's no casting time), from there you can simply defer to what ever you like, if there's no Stuns/CC or anything that will prevent you from using the other AoEs, knock yourself out, else use the punches, rinse and repeat.

pfft. giont skills are a joke. only good for close range and even for a sins who rely on stealth attacks dont get the most out of it coz they have to run away to survive == PB gauge spent on waiting for restealth. SR and the mages just use the damage output so thats even stupider + the party buff which we might have used in pvp is locked at lvl 80 >.>

in summary. do what ever with skills for max 1 shot damage.

lol all you guys want. doesn't change the fact that Giont reaches it's zenith of potential if you're a sin... except for stealth bug.

is this still a problem now that they fixed the Stealth bug?

yes. despite the patch notes on stealth bug fix recently, and word of confirmation on testing even, stealth bug is exactly as it's been since about January, the time domi pets got a boost. That's the patch that contained whatever sorta fixed it... mostly. Stealth bug is not a quality of the rogue, it's a quality of the perceiver. If one foe sees u stealthed, all the rest probably don't. Likewise when other rogues or other teammates tell u you are bugged you can, at this point, ignore them, unless you zoned into FoC stealthed. They're well intentioned though. Thank them but ignore unless ur standing in safe zone maybe.

But in PB form, almost everyone sees you almost all the time. That has not changed.
