Maintenance Extended to 10 PM

lol.. this is kinda stupid... u guys have the maintenance when the NA players play the game at its peak.. cant u guys have the maintenance like... in the middle of the night? say 12 am to 3 am PST or something, that would be like around 3 am to 6 am EST.. most player would be sleeping at that time so it doesnt really matter how long the maintenance is gonna be..

i mean.. this is the NA server right? why does the timing for the maintenance benefits the asian time zone..?

Agree'd. I wish they did this crap when it's like early in the morn.

Length of maintenance is an issue no matter the time we start maintenance. We have discussed changing the time of maintenance for since the launch of Dragon Saga. For now its going to remain at its current time. However, later this month we will be moving our maintenance time, as well as the maintenance time of all of our titles to a late night maintenance on Tuesdays (something like 11pm PST-3am PST) to help relieve this issue.

The DB is still crunching away, beyond the point of no return, trying to stop it now will only cause future issues. So we are going to push through and are hopeful that maintenance will finish within the next hour. For your continued patience in the matter we will be having a EXP 1.5x event tomorrow afternoon from 3pm PST- 7pm PST.

Again we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Tuesdays (something like 11pm PST-3am PST) to help relieve this issue.

It is a horrible idea to do that, and no one does. You get a weap with higher atk at lv4x. And theres lava weap at lv49, that can last until lv60/65/70. And then there's aram weap at lv55. That can last until lv65/70. Anc if you can't afford lava/aram weaps, any weap above lv45 is better than the dark soul i think.

Not really. Keeping DarkSoul to 60, you will only have about 1k or so attack, depending on your class. Not past 1.5k without enchant. And to pve fast enough, you need at least 2.5k atk at lv50+. To get that much damage on a darksoul you would have to enchant up to +10. The cost of that would be enough to even buy weapons from npc at like lv4x. They have higher attack power. And the time spent getting a darksoul, like running spectres tower over and over, you can spend that time running missions trying to get a good weap. For free. The darksoul weap is only good up to 49 at most.

EDIT: yes, its called a magichenge weapon. I have one on my savage. It has grey dust with grey powder floating around it.

My friends that got me into this game just got to F7's when they were showing it to me. After a few F7's they stopped to farm the Lavalon(?) weapon. And I asked them the same question. Why worry about weapons/armors, if you can do F7's which aren't dependent on either? You could just focus on leveling, get to 60+ and get some items, that are better, and you would use/keep for a while.

mhm that's what its called but it's not the strongest weapon. For a lv70 drakos weapon would be a lot better.
Even though I am still only using magichenge to pvp.

Why worry about weapons/armors, if you can do F7's which aren't dependent on either? You could just focus on leveling, get to 60+ and get some items, that are better, and you would use/keep for a while.

No, not like that. If you want good equips, you have to farm the gold. Chaos Smoldering Swamp is a good farming place for lv5x. Then chaos ocher forest is good for lv60. But to make farming gold efficient, you need a really good weap. Lots of attack. Darksoul is a waste of time and gold imo, so i skipped it. My char was only lv43 when it was introduced, and i had the chance of making one. But the time spent, not worth it. If all you going to do is f7, (not advised), you be better off using the weaps that drop from missions.

im pretty sure he's speaking of selling the gear u can earn in chaos, but not sure

In chaos map, monsters drop equips and weapons and jewelery as well as those useless misc items. And some coins. You take the equips and weapons and jewelery, and go to a npc. Then you sell the equips/weaps/jewelery for gold. Two hour of chaos ocher forest can get you 1k gold if you have enough attack power. Another way of quick gold is going Kryos f1 and running it over and over. Thats for lv60+
