you can try find in your RO2 folder
MD5FileList.txt and MD5FileList.txt_Tmp
delet MD5FileList.txt_Tmp
and open MD5FileList.txt with notepad
delet all the text save and close the right klik the MD5FileList.txt properties >>> chek the read only and start the ragnarok2 again
Doing this a million times fixed the "failed to update error" for me

You use your RO2 log in name, which is different from WarpPortal log in name.ok, um what world be my log in name, well be my name right here or the name of when i registered under...

still trying to patch, going so freacking slow D: cant go slower even if it wanted to.... is that or a 3gb patch or something.
Agree it feels like forever, I am barely on 12% and 2h till opening. Feels like it's 20gb or smth

It will stop giving the error once we are done applying the fixes, and you should be able to patch appropriately.
We don't expect this to happen every patch, it's just first day kinks.

his right, after a while it well start working, now to wait for the PDT time to be 3pmThis error is popping up because we are fiddling with the patch currently, and didn't have time to make the transition smooth.
It will stop giving the error once we are done applying the fixes, and you should be able to patch appropriately.
We don't expect this to happen every patch, it's just first day kinks.

I'm assuming I'm getting this because you're currently applying fixes ? If so we can expect an update when it's fixed?
*Edit, also realized it's not 3pm PDT yet, maybe that's also why.

So, upon launching my RO2 client, when it's updating (4211545/4211545), I get an error that says "error: Failed Update patch".
I'm assuming I'm getting this because you're currently applying fixes ? If so we can expect an update when it's fixed?
*Edit, also realized it's not 3pm PDT yet, maybe that's also why.

the error is done for atm. still ur post has nothing to do as to why the patch is taking so long to actually patch. by the time this patch is down. a whole 24 hours. would have gone by. its not going past 5%..I got past the error by following the solution form this post:
