A fair fix, without include the traps being affected by stats (that probably is too hard for the devs to do), would be to add a casting time to the Bomb Trap, and add a casting time to the dna of the Paralysis trap, if we get it: that way the player can choce between keep a 1 target instant cast stun trap or an aoe one with casting time.
Another way to fix some of the problems (without touch the fixed dmg and ignore defense, because that is too much work for the devs) could be to reduce the radius of some of the traps. My avenger is only lvl 65 and i find that the Bomb Trap radius (8m) is more than fine, it should have tops 10m radius and not 15m like it gets at lvl 72: wich is bigger than any ground aoe.
The paralisys trap have 10m at max lvl, maybe leave it with 8m max.
A change related to this could be that the traps get 2 radius: one of activation, in wich the enemy must enter to the area to active it, and another radius that would be the effect radius. But this would be mostly for the Bomb Trap that is aoe.
