Are we going to see a change/removal of debuffs soon because I honestly don't see what they add to the game?
Perhaps we can stop seeing the increasing growth of Knights, that have become almost immortal debuffing machines? Is there any word that this is being addressed, or was it the aim to turn knights into the fun-sucking machines they have become?
I know this game isn't entirely balanced around PVP, but if you simply watch knights at the moment for 30 minutes, even unbuffed they can tank 4+ other jobs indefinitely while slowly debuffing them one by one.

 

 

Additionally, xbow scouts are still vastly superior in every way to bow scouts and almost everything else.

There are so many people making or switching to knights and xbow scouts. They can each tank a ludicrous amount. Even 6v1 in the case of a knight it can sustain for 5 minutes or more. Not even when a mage joins in the gang on a knight will it die. Granted those kinds of knights don't do much hp damage,but they can just spam debuffs. As for Xbow scouts, they just do too much damage for the amount of defense they have. I see fights moving toward eternal battles of pointlessness and it isn't fun at all. I really want to play my bow scout again instead of xbow, but there isn't any point because the burst damage isn't even enough for all their defense and their minimal damage (since there are growing numbers of these tanks) is plenty to drop a squishy target. Combat seems to be devolving into stalemates and pointless bickering.

serusly knight is not that good as thos 2 abow say it is,i have knight and am having one of the best reinfosed armors and stuff ingame and still if a mage hit  a knight he die fast becose knights mdef is kinda gone in the waistland and tank 6 players serusly how bad are thos players really if you ask me? stop messing whit knights thay are never bin this weak in years oh by the way a knight is a tanker , get used to it thats how he is suposed to be and am so tierd that all the craybabys ingame that cant make a good character run on forums and crays for something thats not true,give me a brake will ya

Check your knights 'PVP Defence' stat. You have none. I'm afraid you simply haven't experienced a properly built knight.

There's nothing wrong with a knight being a tank, a tank should be able to tank, they can however tank too much currently (when built properly), and as stated, the debuffing is just obnoxious.

dont mater if i have experienced or not, only thing thats need to be done stop focuse on the crapy pvp and focuse more on pvm what this game mostly is abaut, but as i see it, it go more to pvp now then pvm anyway so it dont mater what i say anyway

I don't know what you're talking about with knights being at their worst in years. I've been playing knight for several years, and I must say they are really strong now. The debuffing is a bit obnoxious and really should be dealt with, but aside from that they are still strong, as to be capable of achieving extreme tankiness and still have decent enough damage to take down others.

When you balance a game, you don't focus on one thing.
Explain to me how the game should be focused towards PvM more than PvP, when most players enjoy PvP?
The mobs aren't versatile enough for PvM to be enjoyable as it is of now.
There's not really a challange to beat a boss, you don't need any specific tactics, and since PvM itself isn't so enjoyable atm, I can see why they focus the skill set up on PvP.
Even though, as Leonis stated before, they are planning on making PvM more fun, you need some patience.
And you need experience of the class before you stare facts about it. Everyone doesn't make knights because suddenly that's the most fun class since ever. Theyre making them because they're slightly OP, there's no reason to take a class balance suggestion personally, either.

The pvp bonus might be just it,maybe even decrease defense resistance by total off 5%.

BUT

From my experience, certain clerics are just as tanky as knights. 

Also, I dislike the fact that raiders and scouts cant longer fight on their own but whatever class that has a shield can. Isn't a scout meant to scout and a raider meant to raid ? Will dodge be adjusted ? because now unless you have 5k dodge, dodge is  useless. And to get to 5k dodge, raiders and scouts have to sacrifice their offensive power which makes them weak dmg dealers. On the other hand a knight, an xbow scout or a battle cleric can benefit from the 2 worlds. They can be tanky by default and use offensive equipments and voila, you got a char that can tank easily 6 ppl at once and actually even kill some of them.

Why play raiders and bow scouts at all ? The number of bow scouts decreases with every day, the majority of them switches to xbow scouts.

Oh and lets not forget, a knight have the ability to debuff, and once he strips couple of your buffs it basically means he wrote your death sentence. Increase knights debuff cooldown to 5 mins +- or change that skill. ​(debuff suppose to be purely mages skill so hold on hold on what the heck ?) Think about a knight with 35k hp , bigg ass deff ... that uses damn jellys ? 17.5k hp lmao

That more than some classes full hp. 

 

 

87% of rose community don't do 1v1 pvps, but game arena or war in tg; So you should  make the balance based on multiple opponents vs multiple opponents rather than 1vs1.

I'm really glad people at the amount of people that are opposed to the Knight debuff. It's going to take alot though, Leonis is pretty adamant about keeping it as it is.  If anything I do hope Crossbow Knights attack power gets tweaked as theirs did not change at all when mace knights did.

Exactly.

I for one am glad to see that Knights are a viable job, they are tanky and capable of dealing damage, with reflect becoming a useful and fun skill.
Nevertheless, they are *too* tanky in my opinion, and the debuffing contributes nothing, especially on a character that has such survivability, and can therefore seriously reduce the buffs of a lot of people before being killed, if it's possible to kill it at all.

 

 

The non-tanking jobs in the game will die to 1 person, and sometimes 2 people, but only if built specifically for tankiness. Tanking jobs can tank far more; clerics, Crossbow scouts and especially knights can take a serious increase of people to kill. The reason I'm focusing on knights is mostly because of the debuffing, and the serious growth of their numbers as of late, making combat seriously frustrating and tedious, when they can't be killed by even 5+ people in more and more cases.

LOL really this guys dunno what a knight is.. ive seen plenty of knights not being able to be killed in TG. Thats because their goulashes and red pots can heal them even when 5-10 MAXED chars are hitting the knight. AND for those who are saying knight is garbage then u should really test a better build. Im not saying knight is OP but im saying knights are unkillable at some point.. buffed or unbuff and can be extremely irritating. Too bad i stopped making videos, or i can record some of the footage.

 

Xbow scout is alright, u can be really beast if u have some good build and IM passives. But i prolly see a good xbow scout like 2 out of 10. Xbow scouts reflect and shield is basically the same as scouts or raiders cloak, just different use. Mages also hit a ton on any classes, prolly like hit 5k and like 1 year stun durations. Last, all class have their own use and those top classes are most likely the ppl who know how to build them correctly.

wow get off maxs bk 

 

he is a pvm knight and not a pvp knight, pre the skill update he was a go to guy for a knight to tank ppl thru dungeons 

knights for a pvm build is not rocket science we all know this,mix in some nice gears and any monkey can make a knight work (pvm)

he is only stating how he feels from his own experience,

Can we please bring back the peg leg guy? I have so many coins to turn in....... I held off selling them to shops because I thought the event drop of coins would be over yesterday and we still had a few days to trade coins for stuff... now I'm stuck with them till next year??? if you want to keep me until then you should put peg legs trades back in to game for at least a day..... there's no point in me having all the coins I have.

No one is jumping on his back, if he's giving critique on how classes are being balanced after PvP, he should be able to hear why.

Knight indeed tanks physical hits godly, but if battle clerics or mages come by, knights are hopeless. Leonis only lower the AP passive on 1-hand weapon but forgot to lower the AP passive on xbow knight skill tree, I don't see any problem with knights at all, it's just their major weakness is not something common that people usually play, since not that much people play mage/battle clerics.

No problem with the debuff either, it is only annoying, not overpowered at all, and we are talking about wars. It is only overpowered when we talk about 1 vs 1.
