I do not know if anyone have suggested this because I've gone through like half of the suggestions...

 

Would there be any chance of the Extended Classes to be buffed up to the same level as the 3rd classes... 

Extendeds have had very important roles in the community, WOE, PVP, PVM... everywhere...

 

As a reward for being very useful, as tribute to gunners, taekwons and ninjas...

 

I suggest that they be buffed up... the disadvantages to them are numerous too.

 

The fact that extendeds are not able to rebirth gives them a great hell of disadvantage because they can not wear any rebirth set of equipment which is half of the regular equipment range in RO.

 

they are still part of the great community and I would only wish that they be treated equally.

 

some people oppose this because "that's why they are not regular classes." if all the regular classes can get strong by having 3rd jobs, why can't the extendeds be given the chance to at least rise up to the spotlight and become at least up to the same level as the regulars...

 

anyone interested?

You know kagarou and oboro are the 3rd class form for ninja's, right? Ninja's can get to 150 by becomming a kagerou(male) or oboro(female). kRO has the rebellion class(gunslinger 3rd class) we're waiting on that update still. And taekwons don't have a 3rd class version yet, but we all know it will exist at some point in the future.

Yes, Kagerou and Oboro are second classes. so is the rebellion... but being unable to rebirth is different, like some [every trans job except novice] equips are pretty much off limits to extendeds and I only want to see some balance as to why 3rd jobs can rise up to 150 but not extendeds... will they be OP if they go up to 150? I'm sure they wont be OP... please explain if they will be ^_^

Most new gears from kro updates don't specify trans anymore, and they are superior to trans gear. They either say all jobs and have a high (>100) requirement, or 3rd jobs. The former of the two work for expanded jobs. Also, the powered up old gvear (such as variants and ring of flamelord) lose the trans restriction.

i dont have any problems with my Kagerou... a kagerou is pretty on par with most 3rds... the only real drawback that i see K/O suffering from is their tiny HP pool... other than that they are a well balanced class with alot of versatility...  i personally wear both E Variants and A.ROFL/ROR... and there is supposedly a class specific hat in the works for ninja classes (tho it should be directed at the melee builds but im sure kRO will screw the pooch on that one)

K/O can already hit 150... Gunslingers 2nd class Rebellion will reach 150... extended super novices can already hit 150... its only TKM and Soul Linkers who cant get to 150...

TKM could use the boost im sure but soul linkers are pretty good as is... the only thing id change is making it so they can enter instances designed for over level 100...

how about job levels. Super novices can reach 99/99. Some extra job points for other expanded classes wont hurt, since expanded don't get as many stat points as 'regular' classes. sounds greedy :heh:

Let's see, pre-expanded SN has 49 skills, with a total of 413 points to master em all. With maxed job level, you can't even max a quarter of it.

Other expanded class, let's say a slinger, has 22 skills, spread into 133 points in total. With maxed job level, you can max a bit more than half of the skills.

So no.

Like what Facekiller said, an important thing TKMs and Linkers should get is full access to instances like any other classes.

Or better, their OWN instance. It's fun to see TK classes group up together and Kihop/Break skills will serve a purpose.

In all fairness, all other extendeds can reach 150 why not soul linkers and TKMs? if you guys think it sounds like pserver, its not. there's nothing wrong with asking for some equality. if you think its wrong to pump TK second class levels list them here please. but i'm all for giving the TK classes a good fighting chance. its not like they have an unfair disadvantage in gaining 50 more levels... so I'm still pushing SLs and TKMs for 150 max lvl spec

it doesn't happen...  because noone wants to make them because Soul Linkers are so handicapped versus other classes. with all due respect, becoming a Bolter Soul Linker eats up a big chunk of the skill points that can be allotted. so the idea of having many linkers or Tks for the kihop skill is not that popular. so I do not think that giving them the extra 50 levels will not make them unbalanced.

It requires a lot of development time for kro staff, so it may never happen.

Just increasing the level cap on tkm/tk ranker/soul linker to 150 wouldn't add anything but a few more stat points and 50% base hp/sp(which doesn't end up translating to 50% more hp/sp overall at all, maybe 25-30% more depending on gear) and would allow them access to newer gear and dungeons. Would also give people that like those classes something to do /shrug

It requires the kRO staff to be made aware that this proposal even exists, so it'll never happen.

 

@topic: We want 2nd classes for these, not a level cap increase. Much rather a Linker progression with all new skills that can break 99, or a TK progression with actual relevance in Renewal than the same old classes at 150.
