Actually I totally thought about making a colorblind version with the names of colors pointing to different lines... But I thought that would make it too obvious.

So you're admitting it wasn't all-inclusive?

And no, I don't think that would have made it obvious. Basically everything depended on a guess: if you guessed that the numbers were item IDs, you were home free (almost*); if you didn't, you had no chance; and I don't think that revealing that the colors were significant would have had much of an impact on whether someone made that guess. (So much for not being "pure guess work.")

* You also had to guess the order of the digits.

I apologize profusely to any colorblind people I slighted with last week's puzzle.

 

But you would have known once you were on the right track. You wouldn't send in the correct answer going "I'm not sure if this is right" because everything would have connected together. Are you guessing that they're item IDs at first? Sure. Guessing the order of the digits... I'd hope you'd assume to just go in order if you weren't given any other hint or directions. @@

 

In retrospect, thinking about it more, I should have included pictures of the items with each number... Since some items share the same sprite it would have been a bigger hint but still not given it away. But hey, you learn as you go.

so did you checked it again? I'm still trying to solve it but I think there's some mistakes in the image you posted. 100% sure I have the correct text since most of the words match with it.

I did and it is correct. I was able to swap around tiles to form the full story without editing anything but the location of each tile.

Man I spent almost the entire day on this thing, it is pretty tough but I think I finally got the correct answer. I find this one easier than the previous ones, I'm just bad, REALLY BAD at everything related with numbers lmao

Now that this is over I can say this. I didn't even see the tiles, with the words on them, till I went to the link to submit an answer. It would help a lont if the the info was on the OP rather than another link
