Due to many users missing the first loyalty setting we will be doing an extra one on the 12th. Make sure to talk to the NPC before the maintenance on the 5th. We will be doing the loyalty setting during weekly server maintenance. Tickets about missing the event will be denied so it is important to register before hand.

Camp, does this mean that all players who had their homunculi adjusted this week will get a third adjustment on the 12th, or is the adjustment on the 12th only for those who missed their adjustment this week?

I apologize, Camp. What I was trying to say was:

Biochemist A and B registered for the event last week. Both already have lvl 99 Homuns. If the adjustment for those who were missed this week will happen in the following week, then:

 

By the first adjustment (this week):

Biochemist A's homun was able to evolve -> becomes low intimacy evolved homun.

Biochemist B's homun is unable to evolve -> stays unevolved due to low intimacy.

 

By the second adjustment (next week):

Biochemist A's evolved homun -> Loyal (able to get Loyalty Skill).

Biochemist B's homun would have just been able to evolve and is now left with low intimacy.

 

Within the second week both Biochemists become a Gene. Biochemist A evolves his homun into a Homun S, B's cannot evolve as he still needs the loyalty skill.

 

By the bonus adjustment (12th):

Biochemist A's homun would be a loyal Homun S,

Biochemist B's homun would have only been able to change into Homun S.

 

If everyone is eligible for the bonus on the 12th, Biochemist A will have had three adjustments compared to B who will only have two.

 

Is this how it will work? I think it is not fair to B since both registered within the same time span, but the other one gets an extra adjustment.

in your proposed scenario, B missed the registration the first time around.  this could have been due to any number of issues since the sever had been wonky the past week with extra maints, rollback, etc.  The entire reason the GMs are even extending the loyalty event one week is because a lot of people are ticketing in because they missed the first event and it's easier for them to just extend one week instead of answering the myriad of tickets.

 

As a result of this some people will be able to get a loyal homunc S via 3 loyalty adjustments, while EVERYONE should be getting at least two loyalty adjustments which was what was offered in the first place.  Are there even any skills that homunc S cannot unlock until loyal anyway?

What if this happens again?  What if the NPC screws up again?  What if people who got screwed the first time got screwed again and missed the upcoming homunculus loyalty event?  What will happen then?

But there is no loyalty skill for homun S, so whether they have loyal or non-loyal homun S doesn't matter so much. 

 

And - they did *NOT* register at the same time. Otherwise they would both have been adjusted. B either registered in the first week, or in second week prior to the restart that fixed the npc.

It lost all names first time and it lost many names the 2nd time.

Careful....half the server population is part of the "I'm entitled to everything...and I want it now" mentality. Can't wait to see some of them try that for work environment.

since apparently 10 alchies signed up without even having a homunculus to adjust, i think it doesn't matter if it's vaporized or not.  i'm pretty sure she just takes down your character name.
