what can I do when I am playing CD with my champ?

~I am fully geared* Extremely geared, without them intentionally wanting my character to die, I shouldn't get killed until the whole team falls.

I got these guys picking on my character... They boast after I get killed a bunch of times over and over...

They have group of friends that quere CD every day, and when there cleric is on my team, they ask the person not to heal me... (revive after i die again and again)

Than when we are in a teamfights i get revived again and again, but the cleric doesnt add heals for me, the most i can get is a party heal...

Than after game they trash talk me...

They get a debuffer, or a dual blade, or a mage to immobilize me so i can't do anything... Is this cyberbullying or what? and what can I do about it? They tell me to name change, but the problem in my server is changing names doesnt matter, you get recognized easily...What can I do about this?

 

If you wonder why this may be happening i think its because some think its funny, some might hate me because I made a champ guide for the community and think I am some kind of show off which is not my intentions. I don't know but I got these haters...

I got no proper solution for you but here is what I would advice you to start doing. Report it and see where it leads, then you'll also get an answer if they consider it as harrasment.

• Take Screenshots of every trash-talking and submit to support.
• Team up with a friendly Cleric or Knight that got your back with Protection, Taunts or Heals, Purify.
• Convince the dev's that Dual Raider mspd debuff needs a nerf. Good luck on that one.
• Make a suggestion that after you are revived, anywhere, you enter the spirit world for 2 seconds allowing you to move away a little bit before you fully recover from death. Remind you of another game? Can't say wich

for be honest that's cyberbullying, report them as midnightsmurf said (he gived that advices in him post), most of players arent like this trust me, about dual raider will be hard to nerf soo i also say gd luck xD, lucky i might will not put debuffs in mine soo maybe wen we fight each other u might will not get mutch debuffs as that raider but yes toons of damage :S, if that thing keep happening to u about cleric reviving, just dont give a *** about him, respawn, if he dont buff u try to get buffs pots (100 per week is gd o. o), and heal pots, that kind of group shouldnt be playing rose soo if u find another group like that just forget them and do u own job >-<, try to do u best, ignore those haters and if they trash talk to u as smurf said send a SS to support

Oh boy, it's hard;

 

1. If you die so easy, it means you're not good on what you're doing.

2. If people dislike you, you may have did something, be sure. NO ONE will just hate you by nothing. Don't worth saying you didin't nothing to anyone.

3. In a CD game, if you're not good, I'm sorry but people will really not cae about you. I'm a cleric, I try to support everyone but if I see there's is one who can't do nothing good and unfortunally become just a "extra weight" for us, I'm gonna focus supporting another who are working better.

 

They way you said, seens there you have no friends in-game? not even someone known wich you enjoy while doing dungeons or crystal defenders??? It's weird.

First, I would try to find out why these guys have it in for you. Perhaps you can work things out with them. If that is not possible, then follow Midnight Smurf's advice. Second, don't let it get to you! Don't trash talk back, just keep trying to do CD and get as many points as you can. So what if you die? There is wonderful thing called Respawn. If you can, try to get a friend that has a cleric to join with you. I honestly think though that perhaps the cleric on your team isn't being told to not heal you, just perhaps busy and trying their best. You might want to try a different build. Do you have any of the PvP skills? These can make a difference. Mostly though, if you do find it getting to you, back off and take a break. We play to have fun, not cause stress. If you are getting to the point where it is not fun, then take a break and do something else for a bit.

"Than after game they trash talk me..."  <<< This right here is the kicker. Screenshot every single time they trash talk you. Ensure you are NOT talking trash back, instigating or doing anything that is considered against the rules as well. Report them every single time they do this, and it will be taken care of guaranteed.

We all have haters. I got haters and do you know how I deal with them? '' How I deal with my haters. I don't. I do not deal with my haters. It's their problem and not my problem. '' I just simple ignore them, becuse they are not worth my time.

You can also do /Ignore [Player's name] and you wont see what they are saying.

 

I understand it's hard when a group of people is targeting you in CD. If you just keep going and going, and just ignore they will get tired. Haters want a reaction. If you dont give them a reaction they think its boring.

 

When you see they trash talk, just simple ss it and send in a ticket.

It is actually very simple my young padawan. Let me analyse the situation for you. From the responses you have had, we can pretty much agree that the forums give u 2 options. 

 

1) Report

2) Inaction

 

The "bullies" on the other hand will have 2 responses.

 

1) Continue

2) Stop

 

We can make it into a simple 2x2 matrix 

 

               Bullies

             Continue     Stop

     Report   5,5         10,-5

You

   Inaction  -10,10       10,0

 

Under the assumption that report = ban (over time), if you report and they stop, its human nature to want payback and we are pretty sure they wont feel any good about stopping. (10,-5)

 

If you report and they continue, well getting banned will take away some joy, and you will feel some justice. (5,5)

 

If you dont do anything, and they stop maybe getting bored of you or something. Well, good for you (10,0)

 

If you dont do anything and they continue, bad for you, good for them. 

 

It is pretty clear that the pure game perfect nash equilbrium in this game is you will always report them, and they will always continue bullying you. That is if you listen to what these people on the forums tell you.

 

Your best solution is neither report or inaction. Humans are actually very easy to control. You only need to know that humans respond to incentives. You just need to play around this fact and ensure that they receive enough incentive to stop bullying you. I present you 2 sure fire solutions.

 

Solution 1. 

 

One traditional method is called extortion. Only that you are the victim. BUT, it turns the situation into a subgame where you hold the first move and can predict their moves ie you now hold the upper hand. 

 

It is hard to illustrate subgames in forums, but the logic is very simple, you know they will stop if you pay because you know that they know you will not pay if they dont stop and they know that you know that they know as well. (Welcome to game theory)

 

You pay, they stop. You dont pay, they dont stop. End of story.

 

Solution 2.

 

The other solution I have for you if you are poor is to offer labour instead of monetary incentives. ie help they fight whoever their enemies are. Logic is same as above.

That or make it fun. Whenever I had individuals or groups of players hunting me, I made it hard for them to do it. Like a game of hide n seek mixed with tag. Often brought friends to this event as well, made for some interesting comments like "run run run" or "debuff really?" etc

This has got to be the worst piece of advice I have ever read. And really, humans are easy to control? You sound like a despot! We are much too complicated to make it such a simple math problem. I think you need to experience a bit more of life. You are obviously quite wet behind the ears!

It seemed to me the "advisor" didn't have much life experience to be saying such a thing! I wasn't really trying to be funny either, but a little laughter doesn't hurt.

henrycao, to put it bluntly, that sounds like it sucks and I really am sad to hear we have players that would go to such lengths to ruin another's gaming experience.

 

Though it's rarely heard of to report someone for not doing something, in this case, it is the actions of others to intentionally cause you harm, which is a form of harassment, and ill-mannered game play. Even though it's an act of not doing something, it's intent is to be harmful to you directly.

 

Otherwise, I would encourage you to be strong, make more friends and enjoy playing with them. Whatever their reason, it is unimportant when you consider that you play for your own enjoyment, so do that, play to enjoy for yourself. Find others who enjoy playing like you do and share those good times with one another. But try not to let it get to you. Remember ROSE is a game and meant to be enjoyed. I hope you're able to find a way to continue enjoying it, despite others who may try to take that away. Keep reporting them so the Support Team is aware of it, at the very least.

 

But on the chance that this is what is happening and those players might read this thread, shame on you. It seems to me, that by your actions you are unable to compete with henrycao fairly, which is why you cowardly resort to such actions. It's far more embarrassing to me to perceive that instead of raising to the challenge, you resort to sabotage. Just shame, so much shame. Any possibly gloating you might have about how you're stronger, or how you win, or anything that relates to it being a competition, it is a lie, in truth totally invalid, because you cheated the spirit of the game in order to do so.

But I would also report them, including screen shots of the whole conversation so you can prove that you aren't doing or saying anything to provoke them.  Pvp trash tak is one thing but preventing someone from playing the game is another and I'm sure support will take action if it's always the same people harassing you for no reason.

Are you telling me that I'm lame for me and my friends to gang on a person in cd for tactical reasons?  

For example if he were to consistently use  Berserker's cry, Soul wreck, and aoe out Salamander flames, I thought it would be reasonable to eliminate him before he truly becomes detrimental to my group. 

I'm fully geared as Henrycao here by  allocating my 10k im pts into my raider yet it's quite challenging to win over him by 1vs1. Call me noob, lame or anything you like but just know that having friends who fight beside me is enjoying and fun.   

 

What is even more lame is having to abandon your team because of a bad day. 

Although trash talking is a no-no, I'll tell my group to refrain from trash talking. 

 

It's a little good to show two flip-sides of the coin.

That was said as if the objective was to win, however its was not. Only an excuse because if the persons objective really was to win, they would be attacking the crystal and not not trying to kill the defender until the very second the game ends. After the game I said to the person that they were defeated because they only wanted to destroy my character, they said specifically they did not care about the win of the game(had tons of honor) and they said they felt they did win because they totally wrecked me.

That was because somebody told the cleric to not heal me, a bc from the other team just came straight at me(me running in circles trying to get a heal) when standing next to a cleric that did absolutely nothing? There is nothing wrong with getting a little mad at the people who stand by the side of a friend even though what they were doing was totally mean.

A champion is not the squishiest target believe me, especially when they give an AoE attackpower down. If the person cared about the honor's or kills they gained they would have attacked the new ungeared players.

 

5~6 people ganging up on one character non-stop has no objective but to ruin the enjoyment of the game for that 1 person. What impressed those players wasn't the kills they got, it was the death's that I received was what made them laugh.
