Ok since wednesday i tried to play RO but i couldnt make it cause everytime I start the Ragnarok.exe, it just keep saying "Attempt to connect file server" and after that the message change to "Failed to get 2011-4-4data_gm.gpf" I tried to do the manual patch thing but it doesnt work. I just dont know what else should i do.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Seems like there's something wrong with your connection/ability to grab the patch. Can you tell me how you did the manual patch and what kind of error you got?

Well i dont think my IP got banned because I can see the WarpPortal and PLayRagnarok sites or at least thats what i think.

About the patch, first i downloaded it from the RO site, then i followed every step listed on the website(did the same thing in the video). What i get everytime i run the Ragnarok.exe is that its trying to connect to the file server and after 1 min the msg says that it failed to get that file.

I didnt have this problem before even with the older patches. Now i cant level with the 2x event D:

First try this. Delete "PatchClient" folder and run all three .exe --> ragnarok.exe, ragnarokFree.exe, and renewal.exe

Let me know what happen.

Already did but the problem persist.

However in the renewal launcher the msg says "Failed to get 2011-4-6data_gm_exe.rgz" which is a different file from the other two.

I had the same problem. It's an easy fix, you gotta go to this:

That has all the fixes you need. It usually is you need to right-click and use administrative privelages. If you dont have those, you are going to need those.

Also, make sure you run all the patchers not just ragnarok.exe.

I managed to log in. however i get dced everytime someone uses those new hats (ex:O'Riley Hat)

Is it possible that my client is not patching properly cause of my new router? 2 weeks ago my ISP gave me a new router (ZTE model and my old router was a Zyxel 600 series)

Yes, it could be your router. If you were patching fine with that router with other patches then it shouldn't be a problem. Best way for you right now is to download all the patches manually and then install it. Also it seems like you have problem downloading the patch before Wednesday. 4/4 patch missing.

How bout Windows XPpro users? Do you have any other advices regarding to this error? I'm encountering the same problem as well. And i haven't figured out a way to solve this one. Tnx!

Yes, it could be your router. If you were patching fine with that router with other patches then it shouldn't be a problem.
