Ok, what's your OS and what is your Antivirus? Have you had RO installed on your PC before?

yes ro has always worked on my pc. i have tried disabling mny anti virus and see if that works and it does not. im running RO on window 7 64-bit and my anti virus is norton anti virus.

I'm using Windows 7 with Avast antivirus. When I click start, I hear music in the background and a blank white screen, then the gravity error pops up. I've gone to the root directory and had all the exe files run as administrator, including sakray, patchup, ragnarok, classicRO, clragexe, ragexe, and sakexe.

its an antivirus problem. put rag.exe clrag.exe in your antivirus exclusion. if you have comodo firewall do the same thing. put it in your exclusions.

I actually got it to work.

1. I turned off UAC (control panel, search for User Account Control, change the setting to Never Notify)
2. I uninstalled and re-installed in C:\Ragnarok Online\
3. I went to the folder location and ran classicRO.exe, ragnarok.exe, and sakray.exe in that order, exiting each time instead of hitting start so they can patch.
4. I ran setup.exe and setup_classic.exe and set my preferences for each (just in case).
5. run ragnarok.exe

I \was\ running sakray.exe to play it for a while, but realized it was a beta server to just test basic stuff. It was kind of fun, but after hitting max level I was like "so... what do....."

Thanks for the help though. Hope this helps future users.

I also got it to run on my friend's computer too, but I had to turn off his norton antivirus while the program installed. His antivirus is back up now and it's allowing ragnarok to run just fine. It just won't allow the installation.

I am currently having this issue. I have tried to uninstall everything, run everything as admin, patched everything, turned off anti-virus and firewalls and nothing appears to make a difference. Sakray however works fine. Running the regular client only gets a quick loading cursor which then disappears while the classic gets me this error:

I do not have admin access to the this computer (but I am on windows 7 so I can run things as an admin) so I can not change the UAC and I'm doubt the admin would allow that change.

Define "patch everything" specifically. Maybe you're missing a file. There should be 3 files that need patched. And when you go to the file folder, right-click as many things that look important, go to properties, and set them to "run as admin".
