Gravity Error Handler Appears on trying to Login through ClassicRO.exe

I am unable to login through classicRO.exe client. Every time i try to login i get the following gravity error and the client closes. Running the patcher as admin works but when i click start i get a error starting "DirectInput not available" followed by the same appearance of gravity error handler and the client closes.

I have downloaded the latest client from the warpportal website and installed it. I have also updated my windows directx to the latest version available for win xp professional and updated my anti-virus and run a full system scan.

Did you update thru Ragnarok.exe and just for good measure update via Sakray.exe

Are you trying to access Classic or the main Servers?

to access Classic you must use the classic client
to access the Main Servers you must use the main client

i am trying to access classic server. I use classicRO.exe for that and am unable to login through it. i Patched up sakray.exe just to be on the safer side. I dont know if its even related to classicRO.exe.

Did you mean re-install and update thorugh sakray.exe or just simply updating sakray.exe?

only time ive encountered this gravity error is when i tried to access the main servers using the classic client.

How much more time will it take? i have holidays till 1st august and was hoping to play classic till they end -.-"

The fact that the incidence of the "DirectInput not available" error message is very rare suggests that the problem is related to your computer's configuration.

Try the following:

  • Check for any problems with DirectInput using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
  • Disable any on-screen keyboard software.
  • Update your computer's drivers. (You can usually download the latest drivers for your computer from the web site of your computer's manufacturer.)

I used the directx diagnostic tool and didnt seem to find any problem there. I also updated my computers drivers. It still doesnt work.

I'm experiecing the same issue - at first I could access the character creation screen. When I tried to create a character the client stalled, and DC'ed me in the end.

I tried that three times, and now I can't even get to the char creation screen, as I get the error message the minute I fill in my pass and user name.

The problem occurs only ClassicRO.exe or and other also?
Here also the case with the Ragnarok.exe (Ragexe.exe).

I'm experiencing the same error too! When i put my password and click to login in the Classic patch, the game just closes suddenly!

I'm having the same problem. I click on the Classic Server icon on my desktop but when I click "Start" it get Gravity Error. I'm having no trouble to play on Sakray, can a manager help me please? I'm brazilian but I speak a little English. thanks

Ya im having the same problem with the handler, I cant even get to the login screen. This has been happening since the last patch about a day or tow ago given today is 8/22/2012. Tried everything else on the threads also <.<, just hope everyone I know on there is not getting to far ahead of me. :(

Post the error log please, you should not be getting this error anymore.
