Also, low and mid tier just recruit at the entrance of the map. Only the high tier recruits at eden because squishies will die fast to high level monsters. Perhaps consider making a "no monster zone" at the entrance of the map?

I have seen SO MANY new players asking where an npc is in eden because its covered with chats that people glitched, and people who blend in with the npc.
DISABLE CHATS IN THE FIRST FLOOR. TIRED OF SAYING IT GRAVITY.
It makes no sense to not disable it when eden is such a large part of the new players game, and that game is ruined by jerks who think its cool to abuse a bug.
Yes inu, F11 works for CHATS. But here's something to say on that:
A. New players probably don't have a clue what f10 and up does unless they randomly hit it. Nothing tells them that it does anything, so they probably don't know its there. Even if they do, refer to B.
B. Players can crowd npc's, F11 doesn't magically make all the people suddenly disappear too.
Disable the load on eden first floor, it will help new player traffic.
Note: I already know all the npc locations in Eden. I want this done solely to help new players find their way around easier, instead of rage quitting because they cant figure the game out.

It sounds a bit silly, but it might be more than practical once the player sees Eden. ._.

There is a big room where you can put chats up and that room is totally empty. Why not make buy/sell chats illegal in the first floor of eden where gramps and the other NPCs are at and make everyone use that empty room instead.
This is a great suggestion.
This place is big, it's empty, and it could be used like a "market" to sell stuff, that people will have access from anywhere where's a eden girl.
Only chats would be available, not sell stores, and disable the chats in eden first floor, so that the only people there are actually people who is doing eden quests and/or TI's, and we could use general chat to talk to each other and prepare parties.

If nothing will be done about the chats, then maybe the introductory course in the Novice Training Grounds should include a tutorial on F11. Similar to the 2-1, 2-2 job changes, warp players to a room where NPCs each have dummy chats up, and players have to pick out a 'one of these
thingsNPCs is not like the others' sort of deal.
It sounds a bit silly, but it might be more than practical once the player sees Eden. ._.
people actually read that stuff?........

You know when Eden Group has to put down one of its members its a nice large quiet area.

^This is also a good ideaWhat if the NPCs on the second floor were moved to the back room, and Gramps was moved upstairs? That would leave only the first floor for the Newbie Quest boards and actual Eden content. It would utilize a lot of the unused space, and held separate the Gramps+Eden NPC crowding issue.

No a simple method is to just hane a gm patrol for a few days ANYONE who bypass's the chat near a npc should be banned on the spot 1st off for a week then if it happens a 2nd time a 6month ban. I bet you could see gramps and the quest npcs easy if they did this, and it would filter down some of the traffic.
The only problem with this is performers being annoying with Sheltering Bliss. There were a couple there in the last few days, spending half an hour to push people towards the npcs while muttering stuff about "never had this before merge grumblegrumble".
Probably need to ban that too, before banning the chatwalkers.

why don't GM use chat box / vending restriction in 5x5 cell of NPC like they do in ROSE online?
They do but they can be bypassed.
