Spent 30 minutes laying dead outside of the portal to bio4 to do the entrance quest, complete it and all and then I get killed while trying to take the quest and now I can't get back

Walk back manually through bio3, flywing to entrance, and take the quest. If you die while there just ask one of the bio4 parties entering to revive you (shouldn't have left in the first place).
