THE CHICKEN CAME FIRST DAMN IT. A "not-quite-a-chicken" laid a "not-quite-a chicken-egg". The NQAC inside the egg suffered a mutation and became a chicken. The NQAC-egg hatches -> first chicken ever now walks the planet. THAT one then lays the first chicken egg. /win
