Is there any way around not disbanding a guild to rename a guild leader character? I asked in the FAQ thread but it got buried too quickly.

Would I perhaps be able to save the name on a novice for now and submit a ticket to have the name changed via ticket? If it matters any, I'm trying to keep the character name the same as it was but without the "_YG" after it. I figured I was able to remove the _C via ticket from my old Chaos characters when I recovered the account so this shouldn't be any different, right?

Sorry if this was answered already but I just couldn't find any replies to it.

I'm ticketing this, not only the name for our GL was taken, the name wasn't taken in yggdrassil, only in ymir by an alt alche and it got taken

Same problem here. I deleted 2 stupid guilds I didn't care about and that worked, but have 2 I DO care about I do not want to delete with guild levels and stuff. I however got the names I want to use reserved on novies. Am I going to have to send a ticket or will this be fixed with next maint?

I've got this problem as well but without space to make a name reserve novice... Sent in a ticket already - once I get a reply I'll post anything that might help here - but would like to know if this is an issue being worked on or if i should sign up a dummy e-mail account to hang onto my name.

Same problem and already got a response to my ticket. They said it was being sent to the relevant department for processing so send in those tickets. It might also help to make a novice with the original name to keep it from being used.

I've already taken the name on a new novice on a separate account as a precaution. It was the one name I was worried about getting sniped from me too!

I guess I'll submit a ticket for this then.

I wouldn't expect it given the timing but out of curiosity did anyone's GL get a namechange yet?

Making a placeholder i think is the safest thing to so for now
If the guild leaders name was non generic and is right now just sitting on someone's lv12 alt i would think that would be something they could fix
Prolly won't happen right away tho
My guess is tickets will be hideously slow between now and the first week of January

Has anyone had any luck with this yet? I haven't gotten any other responses back yet for this request (although I've had other name issues sorted out already) so I'm thinking I'll submit another ticket tonight.

Still no response here either since 12/21's "forwarding your concern to the relevant department." Wasn't expecting any action yet given the time of year, but was hoping for at least word back from that relevant department... Asked about it in the post-merger state of the server thread and got no response, so who knows...

I also gotten the same issue... so my only question is when do we get the response and 2) They should make a way to transfer the guild to another leader supposing A) the guild leader goes inactive the leader needs to pass the guild off due to realtime circumstances C) temporarily, in case of certain circumstances.

Will they or would they ever implement this?

Mine has also been resolved
