Hi i am Mitten. Hair Styling/Dye is vital as it gives identity to the character in Midgard. Beautifying your character is my speciality.
So i here i am making a complete guide on how to style/dye your hair!

1.Hair Styles & Colors

Lets start with the list of the hair that you can do. For now there are 27 hair styles 7 Hair color variations for each gender.
You can view the list below. It is important that you check the hair style and color before you change.



There are 27 hair styles in total. 8 are available in Lighthazen Hair Stylist Option. The other 19 are available in Alberta Hair Dresser.

The 8 hairs in Lighthazen are:

Female:
i. Spring Rabbit Style
ii. Harpy Style
iii. Medusa Style
iv. Assumtio Perm
v. Isis Style
vi. Soul Changer Cut
vii. X Tornado Cut
viii. Oratio Cut

Male:
i. Petite Style
ii. Executioner Style
iii. Prince Style
iv. The Deviace Style
v. Emergency Heal Perm
vi. Aura Blade Cut
vii. Renovatio Cut
viii. Power Swing Cut

The rest are available in Alberta. (too lazy to list them, refer the table above)

2.What you need

Hair Styling is not free! You need certain material and cash to style your hair.
I will list you the items and the amount of zeny that you need.

And apparently upon recent updates , players are required to be of a certain level to make a hair change. (Sad but true)

Level Requirements

LEVEL 60 + (I strongly disagree with the decisions that iro made . I hope they erase this requirements.)

Hair Styling Items

i. Item Needed

3x Counteragent
3x Mixture
100x Black Hair (Sohee)
100x Glossy Hair (Miyabi Doll)
100x Golden Hair (Marionette, Violy)
100x Daenggie (Munak)
100x Short Daenggie (Bongun)

99,800 Zeny

ii. You can also random the hair at Lighthazen at the cost of:

250,000 Zeny (Only 19 old hair are available in this random selection)

Dye Items

i.Item needed to dye (only one dye at a time):

Scarlette Dyestuffs
Yellow Dyestuffs
White Dyestuffs
Orange Dyestuffs
Darkgreen Dyestuffs
Cobaltblue Dyestuffs
Violet Dyestuffs
Black Dyestuffs

Oh wow interesting. I never noticed how nearly all the hairstyles were named after skills or monsters aha.

They should really change the requirements for changing hairstyles though. It's a bit too expensive (at least if you plan to buy everything) and the requirements are just weird. Why do we need more hair for a haircut? -.- I mean of course some hairstyles have more hair than others so not much can be done there, but still they should probably change the requirements to make it less expensive and more sensical, like say, a non-kafra shop hairstyling coupon. Heck, zeny and a pair of scissors should be the only things needed @_@

On the other hand, nice guide. Requesting sticky

Hahaha i was wondering about the same thing aswell. Why do we need more hairs in order to change hairs. Even if they do , why in a bunch of a amount? Didn't really get that part.

Since you're doing something relating to character style customization, you should also try adding information on how to dye clothing and how to dye some headgears xD or maybe a list of different costumes or something x-x To help out new players on RO :}

It seems that i have never come across a hair style that need to use hair style coupon. (Or i have mistaken in my beauty guide) , i will investigate more on this matter and come back to you as soon as possible.

Apparently you are correct , i have accidentally mistaken the 2 hair names. I have double checked the rest of the hair name . It seems the rest is in its proper name.

Heh, just realized that the first few hairstyles correlate with the classes they were introduced with.

For example, Arrow Shower & Double Strafe are archer skills, and they were used in the official art when those classes came out!

It follows this pattern for awhile until the number of hairstyles > number of classes, then they just did whatever.

Question about the Lighthalzen Random Barber: is the hairstyle one of the whole twenty-seven, or is it limited to the 8 Lighthalzen styles?

Thanks for correcting me. For the random barber , you can only get the 19 hair from the Alberta Styles.
