Lately I have noticed that crits have become very weak, especially against any players in WoE. Many skills that are AoE out DPS crits even on single target, and are wiping whole groups of people; meanwhile, me and others pot through KVM crits from max level GX like it is some kind of joke.

If other skills are allowed to do perilously damage on a regular basic, crits also should be a force to reckon with with 193 attack speed and not recovered so easily. Is there any possibility of crits being able to ignore defense or have damage boosted again? Can anything be done to make them viable rather than laughably weak?

What converter are you using?

They are you just need a +12 kvm.

Im guessing a lot of people throw on edp and no converter thinking its all good

Crits arent reduced in WoE, you just arent using the right converter. To add a little touch put Oblivion curse on while you DPS him, so that even though you dont kill him you wasted a good chunk of his pots and left him disabled for 3 minutes.

I'd perma leech end if i were you that is irritating as hell if they managed to outpot and get away from you. You can't just aim for anyone though you gotta aim for mid def/squishies. If you're trying to crit sorcs/rg/chasers wearing full woe set + full reduction otherwise u silly

That is kind of my complaint. GX is a living weapon that can't kill things with crits.... It is noticeable on MVP too. At least the skill balance happened as the skills are hitting twice as hard as the crits even with low DEX.

As for my element, I did use shadow/poison a while then a novice surveyed my crits and I was like.... YEAH. Time to learn to play! But yeah crits are in terrible shape when two EDP GX can be on me and I survive. Then their priest throws Aspesrio on them wondering what gives... I did not die because white potion is so OP right. >.>

I guess GX is simply easy to counter... I have run around with other elements with not much difference. I wonder if people spam of ygg or my damage that weak with EDP up even when non-poison/neutral/shadow element.

Well kafrablossoms ruin converters. I have had 1-2 gxes hurt enough that I throw on angeling that always takes care of it.

This is what makes the difference: Converters.

Up againts an RG? Try -> Cursed Water if that doesnt work switch to Fire -> Earth

Up againts Warlock/Sorcs? Try -> Poison - > Fire -> Earth

Up againts other GX? -> Fire -> Wind

Up againts Suras? -> Poison -> Fire -> Earth

Critting suras in a small fight situation is suicide why would you ever do that.

If they switch to KBC use your poisons againts them, they cant do anything if they are oblivion cursed right?

That's the thing 99% of critters don't use their GX poisons on top and THATS awful.

Oblivion curse is resisted by high int classes tho. The only poison that hits often are mushrooms and leech end.

Gfist still hits while you hide? wow, also if you are using hallucination walk GoH is reduced drastically, like if a gx is in Hallu walk you must be nuts to GOH him

did you try to crit the Sura? if so then now you know that isnt a good idea, use skills on them kill them as soon as you can

I've taken my fair share of them, but it is far from easy. I had one guy raging on me because the lowly GX should never kill him. Looool!
