It's a difference of what, 50-60m?
Most people are going to be spending hundreds of mil worth of KP upgrading their twin edge to +9 or +12, since it's the go-to end-game weapon. Of course it's worth the extra 60m, because that expense is dwarfed by the expense of upgrading it. In terms of cost per atk, considering current kafra point prices, the extra atk from the red twin edge is about the same price (within a wide margin of error). So, if it's worth going +9, it's worth getting the red twin edge, but if you can only cost justify +7, you can't cost justify red over blue either.
