Hello,

 

How does stats distribution work now that the base lvl increased to 175?

It is important to keep a balance in INT/VIT, or can I put some points in DEX?

 

I returned to RO after some years, so I'm a bit rusty..

You can simulate your status here

 

You can go 120 INT / DEX / VIT at transcendent base level 175 and still have 77 unallocated status points.

 

You can also go 117 INT / 120 DEX / 125 VIT for things like jupiter ring that grants huge defense and mdef bonus especially if its further combined with pilgrim shoes and medical scrubs / fafnir scale / antonio's coat.

 

for above case, in case you're wondering the reason why I choose to lower my INT instead of my dex is for the 0.5 fixed cast time reduction bonus from wearing temporal dex boots occasionally when I'm not doing the tanking, when I tank mobs I usually switch to pilgrim shoes (defense plus 50 per level of sacrament known and 15 mdef) or diabolus boots (19,250 HP boost when comboed with diabolus wings at base level 175)

 

as for progression, I went INT/DEX first and put some vit for survivability

More doubts: I've been searching for gear, but I don't know what people are using right now...

 

What gear should I focus on getting first in order to be zeny efficient, that will help me as I level up?

 

I bought some cheap stuff for now, a Valk shield, variant shoes, geffen robe (all +0) cuz I have almost no zeny (+/- 200m), growing little by little...

Get +7 Pilgrim Shoes ASAP. Make sure to get all the requisite skills to activate the full effects. Its like having 1 White Lady card, 2 Kiel Cards, 1 Doppel Card, 1 (permanent) Fei Kanabian Card, Feather Beret, and Variant Shoes. Oh and it also gives really a nice reduction in SP consumption. And for some unknown reason it only vends for 100m.

 

Valk shield will be fine, Hodremlin Card if you can. Gives 15% resist to everything and a chance to gain 30 pdodge. You want to get as much neutral reduction and pdodge as possible. So Yoyo carded accessories would be a good option. You can also get a high refined Valkyrian Manteau for more pdodge.

 

All the best in slot gear is expensive. So its kind of hard to give those as recommendations. Other than Pilgrim Shoes there is nothing else top-tier that really jumps to mind for your budget. Archbishop Ring x2, Archbishop enchanted costume headgear, Ritual Robe / Antonio Coat / Medical Scrubs, Rosary Necklace, Clergy Nurse Cap, and Croce Staff, to name a few.
