I've been doing this series of hero quest from the first ringing bell on the screen & now I'm stuck in Eldeon it started in Junon then went to Luna & I just finished that. Now the quest lead me to Eldeon to speak to Raknu Chief which I did but he dosen't continue the quest chain all he says is he has his own mission & I have mine, goodbye. My question is has anyone else had this problem or even attempted this quest this far down the chain because on http://rose.kuro-tej...m/index.php?m=6 from the hero quest tab the quest only leads to Luna, which im passed that now. I'm thinking the dev team hasn't added anything new to the quest from Raknu Chief or maybe im missing something, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you want, you can abandon the quest, then pick it up again if they ever expand it again. However, you will have to remember who the last npc was that you talked to.

The quest is currently on hold at that point. Time to hurry up and wait ;-)
is that quest on hold ?? 
i cant continue that anymore & im now at the orlo & 204 lvl

Well maybe in another year or so we can get through Eldeon and into Orlo, but I would say I doubt it currently.
i think that is a shame, cos i think the hero quest is very important to understand the story behind the game.

(goblin caves, forgotten temple, you hardly see anyone in luna compared to OT) if we had more quests that incorporated these areas and sent us into them while they are level appropriate (they are not for the lvl 100 quest or really for the get the stuff to use the interstellar ship)
but then I like story lines and quests.
plus all this massive party and hurry level makes you miss out on mats and stuff... so I have decided I will slow level my alts rather then speed them through. I want the drops 
Just reminds me of how sad I am gonna be when I get them high enough for Eldeon and I run out of quests until orlo.

iam now lvl 203 mage at orlo!, btw who was original npc that started this one?

Go up to the flanae fields in AP. On the very right, near the waterfall, you will see beams of light coming down. That is where you find the goddess Arua.

I'm an old player coming back and all I know is hardcore grinding. I have to ask, is questing really that good now adays? Is it fun and beneficial? Back when I first played grinding was the only way to level.

There have been some new quests added, and they do give rather nice xp, money, and sometimes items. Especially for the lower level noobs. Progression Quests have been added, which take you to Junon Polis. The Coffingtons have been added to Luna. There are now NPCs in the prison which give quests. Now, these do take some time to complete, so leveling is still faster if you are in a party. There are places like Kenji Beach, and Lunaris Bears spot, where you can complete quests, while you're grinding. You will have to make up your own mind on whether they are worth it or not.
