Well, do they work?

If they do - that is practical proof that it's a network issue - which could be fixed by using lowerping/wtfast, or changing ISPs.

RO is very sensitive to network conditions - unlike most games, it doesn't really have any lag-mitigation features that would hide lag from the player.

bro tried them both, seems like I do have less lag ( i'm not 100% sure) but I still lag a lot D: does it helps if I post a picture of what the program is showing? D:

This is strange. I looked back at the last Trace, i saw one thing that concerned me. Can you take a few more and look at the first hop?

It should always be 1ms or less than 1ms. If it's going higher, that's a sign of a problem with your wifi

Axylus here it is D:

[…]

Your WinMTR results indicate that at least 8% of your packets are being dropped by the gateway xe-0.equinix.asbnva01.us.bb.gin.ntt.net, which is sufficient to cause noticeable lag in RO. The gateway in question is owned by NTT, who are Gravity's ISP.

You should forward the results (in HTML format) to both Gravity and your own ISP and hope that it leads to a resolution.

To save a copy of the results in HTML format:

  • In WinMTR, press "copy HTML to clipboard".
  • Open Notepad.
  • Press control-V.
  • Save the document with a file name that has the extension "html".

You should send the results to both Gravity and your ISP because I'm not certain who is at fault.

Oh my god! 8% packet loss?! No wonder you're lagging!

That's horrible! And it's on NTT's server, so gravity should be able to show it to NTT and tell them to clean up their act (NTT is gravity's ISP)

Submit a ticket via the support ticket system ( support.warpportal.com ) containing that WinMTR log, pointing out the bad hop.
